MX US : Dylan Ferrandis reprend la plaque rouge
Après un week-end « off », le championnat US de motocross reprenait ce week-end à Mount Morris. Dylan Ferrandis en a profité pour reprendre à Ken Roczen le leadership du championnat.
Dylan Ferrandis fait coup double à Mount Morris. Non seulement il remporte l’épreuve et signe donc sa deuxième victoire de la saison mais en plus il reprend la plaque rouge au pilote allemand. Au terme d’une journée marquée par deux deuxièmes places, alors que les pilotes Kawasaki Adam Cianciarulo (1+4) et Elit Tomac (6+1) remportaient successivement les deux manches du jour, le Français monte sur la plus haut marche et prend 4 points à Roczen. De quoi se réinstaller en tête du provisoire avec 3 unités de plus que le pilote Honda HRC. Deux fois 3ème ce samedi, Roczen termine au pied du podium, juste devant son coéquipier Chase Sexton (4+5).
En 250, Jalek Swoll (1+3) remporte la première victoire de sa carrière sur l’outdoor US. Le pilote Husqvarna précède sur le podium de Mount Morris les deux leaders du championnat Jett Lawrence et Justin Cooper. Le jeune Australien porte son avantage à 11 points sur Cooper.
