Nathan Renkens retrouvera ce week-end \u00e0 Matterley Basin la cat\u00e9gorie MX2. A 21 ans, le Belge a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de reprendre le guidon d’une 250 SX-F. Sa saison sportive a en tout cas bien d\u00e9but\u00e9 avec une victoire dans la boue de Lommel le week-end dernier.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Des circonstances tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8res, certes, mais malgr\u00e9 tout une belle victoire qui a laiss\u00e9 une bonne impression \u00e0 tous les observateurs pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 Lommel dimanche dernier. La confirmation en tout cas que toutes les pi\u00e8ces du puzzle sont bien en place pour le team NR83 mis sur pied par le clan Renkens avec le soutien de KTM Belgique et de plusieurs partenaires.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je suis certain que nous avons encore une belle marge de progression.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons fait du bon travail sur la moto cet hiver\u00a0\u00bb, confirme Nathan. \u00ab\u00a0La KTM 250 SX-F est la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence en MX2 et \u00e0 partir de cette base ultra-solide nous avons d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 quelque chose de vraiment bien avec nos partenaires techniques comme les suspensions S\u00f6lva, les \u00e9chappements HGS, Dunlop, les huiles Motul, VHM, Twin Air, Goldfren et NG. Je suis tr\u00e8s satisfait de la machine et je suis certain que nous avons encore une belle marge de progression ! \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je me suis entra\u00een\u00e9 dur cet hiver\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit le Belge. \u00ab\u00a0Je pense que j’ai vraiment bien dig\u00e9r\u00e9 le retour en MX2. Cela inclut naturellement un style l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus agressif en comparaison avec la 450. Mais je sens que cela vient, que tout se met bien en place, m\u00eame si les GP sont naturellement la seule v\u00e9ritable indication qui compte. D’accord, la boue a rendu la course de Lommel tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9ciale mais le feeling est certainement tr\u00e8s positif. Et en pr\u00e9paration pour Matterley Basin, c’\u00e9tait certainement une bonne chose! \u00bb<\/p>\n

Renkens pensait d’abord \u00e0 une campagne europ\u00e9enne. Mais le pilote support\u00e9 par KTM Belgique a finalement opt\u00e9 pour le championnat du monde complet, y compris les comp\u00e9titions overseas. Cela fait de Nathan le seul Belge avec Jago Geerts \u00e0 disputer cette ann\u00e9e le mondial MX2 au complet. \u00abCe sera un fameux d\u00e9fi de toutes fa\u00e7ons\u00a0\u00bb, explique-t-il, \u00ab\u00a0mais avec le team nous nous y sommes pr\u00e9par\u00e9s. Nous travaillons aussi professionnellement que possible dans tous les domaines et nous voulons vraiment montrer cette ann\u00e9e de quoi nous sommes capables.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
