La saison commence bien pour Jago Geerts. Le pilote Yamaha s’est install\u00e9 dimanche dernier en t\u00eate du mondial MX2. Il s’est en effet impos\u00e9 sur le GP de Matterley Basin, premier des vingt rendez-vous du championnat 2020. Et il compte bien \u00e0 nouveau jouer les premiers r\u00f4les ce week-end dans le sable de Valkenswaard, l’un de ses circuits de pr\u00e9dilection.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0On savait qu’avec le d\u00e9part de Jorge Prado vers la classe MXGP, Jago deviendrait l’un des pilotes les plus rapides dans la cat\u00e9gorie MX2. Et il l’a prouv\u00e9 ce week-end\u00a0\u00bb, se r\u00e9jouit son team manager Marnicq Bervoets. \u00ab\u00a0Il a commis quelques erreurs en d\u00e9but de seconde manche, ce qui l’a pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 la chute. Mais Jago a montrer beaucoup de puissance, beaucoup de volont\u00e9 pour aller chercher cette premi\u00e8re victoire. Chapeau ! C’est \u00e9videmment une tr\u00e8s belle mani\u00e8re d’entamer la saison mais elle est encore longue. Nous devons \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent veiller \u00e0 rester concentr\u00e9s sur nos objectifs et continuer \u00e0 travailler.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Il y a encore 19 Grand-Prix qui suivent ! Le chemin est encore long…\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Beaucoup de pilotes se sont plaints des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9o, de la boue. Pas moi. J’aime en effet ce genre de conditions\u00a0\u00bb, indique Jago Geerts. \u00ab\u00a0Le circuit est ainsi plus difficile, plus technique. Et cela me convient bien ! En premi\u00e8re manche, j’ai re\u00e7u dimanche un vrai cadeau de la part de Vialle lorsqu’il a chut\u00e9. Je lui ai offert la m\u00eame chose \u00e0 mon tour dans la seconde. C’\u00e9tait une chute assez violente, je souffre encore un peu de l’\u00e9paule. Mais c’\u00e9tait une course passionnante. S’imposer d’embl\u00e9e sur le premier GP, c’est fantastique pour moi.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0La saison mondiale commence bien mais je dois rester r\u00e9aliste\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit le pilote Yamaha, \u00ab\u00a0il y a encore 19 GP qui suivent ! Le chemin qui m’attend est encore long et ne sera certainement pas facile. Mais je suis impatient de voir arriver la suite. Le week-end prochain, nous serons \u00e0 Valkenswaard pour le 2\u00e8me GP de la saison. Cela tombe bien, c’est l’un de mes circuits pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9s ! En plus, je ne serai pas loin de la maison et il y a g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas mal de gens qui viennent me supporter \u00e0 l’occasion de ce GP. Je m’attends donc \u00e0 pouvoir compter sur de nombreux supporters au bord de la piste.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
