Jeremy Van Horebeek a entam\u00e9 sa deuxi\u00e8me saison au guidon de la Honda du team SR Motoblouz. Un statut de pilote priv\u00e9 qui n’emp\u00eache pas The Jerre de donner la r\u00e9plique aux pilotes officiels. La preuve : apr\u00e8s une solide saison 2019,\u00a0 il s’est gliss\u00e9 dans le top-5 du deuxi\u00e8me GP de la saison \u00e0 Valkenswaard.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Le week-end de Valkenswaard fut tr\u00e8s difficile pour moi. Enfait, je pense qu’il l’a \u00e9t\u00e9 pour tout le monde\u00a0\u00bb, nous explique Van Horebeek. \u00ab\u00a0Cette ann\u00e9e, le passage de la saison de sable au MXGP est un peu compliqu\u00e9. L’an pass\u00e9, je n’avais disput\u00e9 que le Touquet. Cette ann\u00e9e, j’ai disput\u00e9 l’int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 du championnat de sable. Passer de l’un \u00e0 l’autre, cela demande un peu de temps. D’un point de vue physique, je n’ai aucun probl\u00e8me. Par contre, ce qui est tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent, c’est le niveau d’intensit\u00e9 des courses. Par ailleurs, \u00e0 cause de la saison de sable, on n’a pas eu suffisamment de temps pour tester la moto et peaufiner les r\u00e9glages pour le MXGP. A Matterley Basin (premier rendez-vous de la saison MXGP, NDLR), je n’avais clairement pas les bons choix pour les r\u00e9glages de ma moto.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Il n’y aura peut-\u00eatre pas de podiums ni de victoires, mais ce temps est r\u00e9volu pour moi.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00ab\u00a0La vitesse de pointe n’est pas encore tout \u00e0 fait au top\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit Jeremy, \u00ab\u00a0mais quand je vois que je suis malgr\u00e9 tout capable d’int\u00e9grer le top-5 sur un GP comme celui de Valkenswaard, je suis satisfait. Je vais analyser ce que je peux encore am\u00e9liorer pour travailler cela dans les semaines qui viennent. Mon objectif en tant que pilote priv\u00e9, c’est de rentrer dans le top-5. Y parvenir d\u00e8s le deuxi\u00e8me GP de la saison, cela me met \u00e9videmment en confiance pour la suite. Le niveau est tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9, il ne faut pas l’oublier. M\u00eame entrer dans le top-10, ce n’est pas facile.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je suis convaincu que nous pouvons faire de belles choses cette saison\u00a0\u00bb, continue Van Horebeek avec enthousiasme. \u00ab\u00a0J’ai trente ans mais je suis loin d’\u00eatre us\u00e9. \u00catre constant sera le mot cl\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e. Je pense que si je reste \u00e0 l’\u00e9cart des blessures et que je peux marquer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement de gros points, je devrais figurer assez haut sur le classement du championnat en fin de saison. D’accord, il n’y aura peut-\u00eatre pas de podiums ni de victoires, mais ce temps est r\u00e9volu pour moi.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Mon exp\u00e9rience en tant que pilote officiel apporte quelque chose dans le d\u00e9veloppement de la moto mais il est \u00e9vident que les moyens dont nous disposons ne sont pas comparables avec ceux des pilotes \u00ab\u00a0Factory\u00a0\u00bb, pr\u00e9cise le pilote Honda. \u00ab\u00a0J’ai en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral une id\u00e9e assez claire des solutions \u00e0 apporter dans beaucoup de situations mais ce n’est pas pour autant qu’elles peuvent \u00eatre mises en oeuvre du jour au lendemain ou qu’elles sont en ligne avec les moyens financiers dont nous disposons dans une \u00e9quipe priv\u00e9e.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
