Pour l’industrie de la moto, l’automne est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement marqu\u00e9 par deux \u00e9v\u00e9nements majeurs : le salon Intermot en Allemagne en octobre et l’EICMA, en Italie un mois plus tard. Les \u00e9ditions 2020 de ces grands \u00e9v\u00e9nements internationaux sont-elles d\u00e9j\u00e0 menac\u00e9es ?<\/strong><\/p>\n

S’il est difficile d’imaginer aujourd’hui quelle tournure prendra la crise que nous traversons actuellement d’ici le mois d’octobre 2020, on sait en revanche que des \u00e9v\u00e9nements r\u00e9unissant dans un espace confin\u00e9 des dizaines de milliers de personnes venus des quatre coins du monde seront sans doute encore interdits un certain temps. Trois mois, six mois, un an ? Personne ne peut le dire aujourd’hui.<\/p>\n

Ce qui est certain, c’est que les constructeurs semblent vouloir agir proactivement par rapport \u00e0 ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements et envoient d\u00e8s \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent un signal clair aux promoteurs : compte-tenu de l’incertitude qui plane actuellement et au danger que repr\u00e9senteraient potentiellement ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements en termes de sant\u00e9 s’ils devaient malgr\u00e9 tout avoir lieu, ils pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent renoncer \u00e0 y \u00eatre pr\u00e9sents. C’est en tout cas ce que viennent d’annoncer tour \u00e0 tour les deux plus grands fabricants europ\u00e9ens, le groupe KTM et BMW. Tous les deux pronent un report de ces deux rendez-vous majeurs pour l’industrie de la moto de quelques mois, dans le premier trimestre 2021.<\/p>\n

Si les d\u00e9fections des g\u00e9ants de l’industrie moto venaient \u00e0 se multiplier dans les semaines qui arrivent, les organisateurs se retrouveraient in\u00e9vitablement sous pression, contraints par les grands acteurs du march\u00e9 \u00e0 postposer leurs \u00e9v\u00e9nements.<\/p>\n
