La piste de Faenza, en Italie, accueillait ce dimanche la 6\u00e8me \u00e9preuve comptant pour le championnat du monde MXGP. Jeffrey Herlings y a remport\u00e9 les deux manches du jour. L’officiel KTM s’offre ainsi son 90\u00e8me succ\u00e8s en GP et creuse l’\u00e9cart sur ses concurrents direct au classement provisoire du championnat o\u00f9 Antonio Cairoli pointe d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me place.<\/strong><\/p>\n

S’il ne termine les manches qu’en 4\u00e8me et 6\u00e8me positions, Jorge Prado a quoi qu’il en soit montr\u00e9 ce dimanche qu’il a la vitesse pour rouler devant en MXGP. Le double champion du monde MX2 a en effet men\u00e9 les deux premiers tiers de chacune des manches avant de rentrer dans le rang et de laisser Jeffrey Herlings filer vers la victoire.<\/p>\n

L\u00e9g\u00e8rement \u00ab\u00a0effac\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 Kegums malgr\u00e9 une victoire, le Hollandais prouve avec ce doubl\u00e9 qu’il reste plus que jamais l’homme \u00e0 battre dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine du motocross mondial. Ce succ\u00e8s lui donne d’ailleurs la possibilit\u00e9 de s’\u00e9chapper au classement provisoire du championnat. Tim Gajser a en effet connu des manches en demi-teinte, avec des d\u00e9parts moyens que le Slov\u00e8ne n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 en mesure d’effacer. Il termine 8\u00e8me puis 5\u00e8me dans les manches et perd la bagatelle de 21 points sur Herlings dans la course au titre.<\/p>\n

Notons que ce 90\u00e8me succ\u00e8s en GP offre \u00e0 Jeffrey Herlings, 25 ans, de se porter \u00e0 la hauteur de son rival et co\u00e9quipier Antonio Cairoli qui a franchi le cap \u00e0 Kegums il y a quelques semaines \u00e0 peine.<\/p>\n

Troisi\u00e8me \u00e0 deux reprises de ce GP disput\u00e9 \u00e0 la maison mais sans ses fid\u00e8les supporters, Tony Cairoli se hisse \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me place du provisoire, \u00e0 60 points d\u00e9j\u00e0 du leader Herlings.<\/p>\n

Contraint \u00e0 l’abandon en premi\u00e8re manche, Van Horebeek termine 12\u00e8me dans la seconde tandis que Cl\u00e9ment Desalle conna\u00eet un nouveau week-end difficile, l’officiel Kawasaki se contentant d’une 11\u00e8me puis d’une 16\u00e8me places. Sixi\u00e8me puis quatri\u00e8me aujourd’hui, Romain Febvre termine ce premier volet du triptyque italien au pied du podium et revient, malgr\u00e9 son absence sur les deux premiers GP de la saison, \u00e0 la 10\u00e8me place du provisoire juste derri\u00e8re Desalle.<\/p>\n
