On savait de longue date que du changement se profilait. D\u00e8s l’\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier en effet, la FIM annon\u00e7ait avoir l’intention de travailler au futur de l’enduro mondial afin de replacer la discipline dans un climat propice \u00e0 son d\u00e9veloppement. Alors que le championnat EnduroGP 2020 s’ouvre en France ce week-end, ABC Communication confirme que cette saison sera la derni\u00e8re du promoteur fran\u00e7ais en ce qui concerne le mondial d’enduro. ABC reste par ailleurs aux commandes du championnat du monde SuperEnduro encore jusqu’en 2024 au moins.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir tent\u00e9 en vain de trouver un terrain d’entente en juin 2019 avec KTM et les promoteurs du WESS (World Enduro Super Series), la FIM avait d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la guerre \u00e0 cette coupe du monde parall\u00e8le. La f\u00e9d\u00e9 internationale avait alors indiqu\u00e9 qu’elle se pr\u00e9parait \u00e0 lancer deux appels d’offres : l\u2019un pour la promotion de l\u2019EnduroGP, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent assur\u00e9e par ABC Communication, l\u2019autre pour la promotion d’une future Coupe du Monde d\u2019Enduro Extr\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Ce que l’on sait aujourd’hui, c’est que ABC ne sera plus promoteur de l’EnduroGP en 2021, saison durant laquelle la FIM entend assurer elle-m\u00eame la promotion en attendant de confier les r\u00eanes du championnat \u00e0 un nouveau promoteur qui ferait donc son arriv\u00e9e en 2022.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0C’est avec grande tristesse, mais guid\u00e9s par la raison que nous avons d\u00fb prendre la d\u00e9cision de ne pas renouveler l’accord de promotion du Championnat du Monde FIM d’Enduro et de ses Coupes du Monde \u00e0 compter de la fin de l’ann\u00e9e 2020 et de d\u00e9cliner la proposition de la FIM concernant l’ann\u00e9e 2021\u00a0\u00bb, regrette Bastien Blanchard. \u00ab\u00a0ABC Communication est li\u00e9 \u00e0 l’Enduro depuis 2004 et a v\u00e9cu une grande aventure dans cette discipline pendant toutes ces ann\u00e9es. Nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 fiers d’apporter notre exp\u00e9rience, notre enthousiasme et notre professionnalisme \u00e0 cette discipline de passionn\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une \u00e9quipe exceptionnelle qui a toujours donn\u00e9 le meilleur d’elle-m\u00eame.
