Engag\u00e9 sur le championnat EnduroGP cette saison dans la classe Juniors 2, Matthew Vanoevelen a donc disput\u00e9 le week-end pass\u00e9 en France son premier GP de la saison. Une reprise \u00e9videmment compliqu\u00e9e par le manche de roulage mais malgr\u00e9 tout prometteuse pour le pilote Husqvarna qui attend \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent avec impatience le second round du championnat ce week-end, en Italie.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0En Italie, les choses pourraient \u00eatre tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes\u00a0\u00bb, se r\u00e9jouit le Nismois. \u00ab\u00a0La m\u00e9t\u00e9o ne sera a priori pas la m\u00eame qu’en France et le parcours sera vraisemblablement plus technique. Les Italiens nous ont habitu\u00e9s \u00e0 nous proposer des courses tr\u00e8s techniques.En France le week-end pass\u00e9, ce n’\u00e9tait pas vraiment le cas.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0D\u00e8s les reconnaissances le mercredi avant la course, j’ai compris que ce serait compliqu\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit Matthew. \u00ab\u00a0Les trois sp\u00e9ciales trac\u00e9es par le club se ressemblaient tr\u00e8s fort et n’avaient rien de vraiment technique. M\u00eame la sp\u00e9ciale extr\u00eame n’\u00e9tait pas particuli\u00e8rement difficile. Il \u00e9tait \u00e9vident que tout le monde allait rouler tr\u00e8s vite dans ces conditions, surtout si le temps restait sec.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Le samedi, je suis rest\u00e9 \u00e0 la 4\u00e8me place du classement J2 presque jusqu’\u00e0 la fin mais j’ai perdu in extremis cette place dans le dernier tour de la journ\u00e9e. Samedi soir, de gros orages se sont abattus sur la r\u00e9gion, ce qui a rendu la piste tr\u00e8s humides dans le premier tour du dimanche. Des conditions qui sont plut\u00f4t \u00e0 mon avantage. D’ailleurs, apr\u00e8s les deux premi\u00e8res sp\u00e9ciales, j’\u00e9tais 3\u00e8me. Ensuite, j’ai malheureusement commis certaines petites fautes qui m’ont fait descendre du podium provisoire, sans toutefois jamais en \u00eatre tr\u00e8s loin. Du moins, jusqu’\u00e0 la fin du deuxi\u00e8me tour. Ensuite, la piste s\u00e8che et mes adversaires reprennent in\u00e9vitablement le dessus. Comme la veille, je termine la journ\u00e9e en 5\u00e8me position.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Un r\u00e9sultat plus qu’honorable \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 le manque de roulage avec lequel j’arrivais en France\u00a0\u00bb, analyse Vanoevelen. \u00ab\u00a0Sans compter que la classe J2 pr\u00e9sente un tr\u00e8s bon niveau cette ann\u00e9e.
