Atteint par la limite d&rsquo;\u00e2ge impos\u00e9e par le r\u00e8glement FIM, il est retourn\u00e9 aux USA pour y disputer avec Husqvarna les championnats AMA de motocross et de Supercross. Malheureusement, sans succ\u00e8s, notamment \u00e0 cause de s\u00e9rieux ennuis de sant\u00e9. De retour cette ann\u00e9e en Europe, il dispute le championnat MXGP au guidon d&rsquo;une Yamaha, malheureusement dans un relatif anonymat. La saison MXGP 2020 est difficile pour Thomas Covington.
