Ben Watson a remport\u00e9 ce dimanche la cat\u00e9gorie MX2 dans la 3\u00e8me et derni\u00e8re journ\u00e9e du triple GP de Belgique \u00e0 Lommel. Il s’agit du premier succ\u00e8s du Britannique qui est accompagn\u00e9 de Roan Van De Moosdijk, vainqueur de sa premi\u00e8re manche en GP, et de Maxime Renaux sur le podium. Ni Vialle ni Geerts ne montent sur le podium mais le Fran\u00e7ais creuse encore l’\u00e9cart au championnat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Septante-quatre points : c’est le -tr\u00e8s confortable- avantage avec lequel Tom Vialle abordera le week-end prochain le dernier triple GP de la saison \u00e0 Arco di Trento, en Italie. Les 3 rounds de Lommel s’annon\u00e7aient d\u00e9cisifs pour Jago Geerts dans la course au titre mondial MX2. H\u00e9las, le sable limbourgeois n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 favorable au pilote Yamaha qui, GP apr\u00e8s GP, a accumul\u00e9 les erreurs pendant que Vialle s’imposait d’abord \u00e0 deux reprises avant de limiter les d\u00e9g\u00e2ts aujourd’hui… et de profiter une fois de plus des trop nombreuses fautes de Geerts pour lui prendre encore 13 points de plus, malgr\u00e9 une journ\u00e9e en demi-teinte pour l’officiel KTM qui se contente de la 6\u00e8me place du GP.<\/p>\n

Les favoris absents du podium, le champ \u00e9tait libre pour les outsiders que sont Ben Watson (1+4), Roan Van De Moosdijk (6+1) et Maxime Renaux (2+5). Les 3 hommes occupent dans cet ordre les marches du podium du jour, ce nouveau podium permettant \u00e0 Renaux de r\u00e9affirmer son statut de 3\u00e8me homme du championnat.<\/p>\n

Meilleur Belge dans la premi\u00e8re manche avec une 10\u00e8me place, Cyril Genot n’a pas pris le d\u00e9part de la seconde manche, pour une raison que nous ignorons encore (MISE \u00c1 JOUR<\/span><\/strong> : ce sont des ennuis m\u00e9caniques sur l’unique machine \u00e0 sa disposition qui ont emp\u00each\u00e9 Cyril de se pr\u00e9senter au d\u00e9part). Nathan Renkens rentre pour sa part \u00e0 deux reprises \u00e0 la 15\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n
