Depuis lors, de grandes avanc\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenues et il semble que les performances de la machine soient plus que prometteuses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>D\u00e9velopp\u00e9e sur base d&rsquo;un ch\u00e2ssis de Yamaha YZ250F, la machine EMX a pass\u00e9 avec brio son premier test sur le banc d&rsquo;essai. La machine \u00e9lectrique d&rsquo;ELEO (anciennement SPIKE) et de Dohms Projecten est en bonne voie pour concurrencer les machines 4 temps 250cc actuelles. Elmar Dohms et l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nieur Laurens Kusters sont les moteurs de ce projet. En mars de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, le tandem a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 coucher la machine EMX sur la planche \u00e0 dessin. La machine a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e depuis z\u00e9ro, en un temps record.<\/p>\n<p>ELEO et Dohms placent leur bloc propulseur \u00e9lectrique dans un ch\u00e2ssis Yamaha YZ250F . En apparence, il s&rsquo;agit donc d&rsquo;une machine qui semble assez famili\u00e8re, m\u00eame si elle est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&rsquo;un moteur \u00e9lectrique. La position de pilotage et l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la moto ne sont pas fondamentalement diff\u00e9rents des machines existantes. Cependant, la pilotage d&rsquo;une telle machine est une nouvelle exp\u00e9rience. Un moteur \u00e9lectrique signifie qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y a pas besoin de bo\u00eete de vitesses et qu&rsquo;il y a beaucoup de couple disponible sur une large plage d&rsquo;utilisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Vous avez l&rsquo;impression d&rsquo;\u00eatre toujours dans la bonne vitesse. La puissance est toujours l\u00e0, du ralenti jusque tout en haut \u00bb, explique Kusters. \u00abLe plaisir de piloter est toujours le m\u00eame, mais il y a moins de choses \u00e0 g\u00e9rer. Vous n&rsquo;avez plus besoin de passer les vitesses pour exploiter la puissance du moteur. Cela signifie que vous pouvez vous concentrer davantage sur la recherche des bonnes trajectoires. Le couple disponible tout en bas est \u00e9norme.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Capable de rivaliser avec une 250cc 4-temps moderne<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Les deux hommes ont d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment choisi une machine capable de rivaliser avec une moto quatre temps de 250 cm3, le type le plus courant sur les pistes de motocross aujourd&rsquo;hui. \u00abL&rsquo;un des principaux avantages de la machine EMX est que la puissance est contr\u00f4l\u00e9e par ordinateur. Cela permet d&rsquo;ajuster facilement la puissance au niveau d&rsquo;une machine 85cc ou 125cc par exemple\u00bb, explique Dohms. \u00abCela fait de l&rsquo;EMX une machine tout-terrain \u00e0 grandes roues qui convient \u00e0 un large \u00e9ventail de pilotes. Les jeunes qui ne se sont jamais assis sur une moto peuvent commencer \u00e0 rouler en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9, avec moins de puissance et donc une machine tr\u00e8s facile \u00e0 prendre en mains. Au fur et \u00e0 mesure que l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience du pilote grandit, la puissance peut \u00eatre augment\u00e9e au niveau utilis\u00e9 par les pilotes chevronn\u00e9s. \u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Un autre avantage r\u00e9side dans la maintenance, qui est consid\u00e9rablement r\u00e9duite. Cette machine ne dispose pas de filtre, de bielle ni de piston n\u00e9cessitant un entretien. Avec l&rsquo;EMX, il vous suffit de changer l&rsquo;huile de transmission de temps en temps.<\/p>\n<p>ELEO a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une batterie sp\u00e9ciale pour l&rsquo;EMX qui se loge id\u00e9alement dans le cadre d&rsquo;une Yamaha YZ250F. Mais la technologie derri\u00e8re le groupe propulseur \u00e9lectrique est universelle.<\/p>\n<p>La machine EMX sera encore d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e dans les mois \u00e0 venir. \u00ab\u00a0Les plans ont d\u00fb \u00eatre l\u00e9g\u00e8rement ajust\u00e9s \u00e0 cause de la crise du coronavirus, il n&rsquo;y a donc pas encore eu de tests r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur des circuits internationaux\u00a0\u00bb, admet Kusters tout en restant positif. \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons beaucoup \u00e9volu\u00e9 sur le moteur.
