La saison europ\u00e9enne de motocross d\u00e9bute ce dimanche \u00e0 Riola Sardo. Deux pilotes du Team Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 seront pr\u00e9sents en Sardaigne: Jago Geerts et Maxime Renaux. Thibault Benistant (18) ne sera pas au d\u00e9part. Le champion d’Europe EMX250 se remet d’une fracture de la clavicule.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sur le mondial MX2, Yamaha semble mieux arm\u00e9 que jamais. Jago Geerts, vice-champion du monde MX2 en titre, est rest\u00e9 \u00e0 bord du team belge et sera le fer de lance de l’\u00e9quipe. De retour dans l’\u00e9quipe, Maxime Renaux a pris la m\u00e9daille de bronze sur le mondial MX2 l’an pass\u00e9. Le Fran\u00e7ais sera un s\u00e9rieux candidat au titre. Il est rejoint dans le team officiel Yamaha par son compatriote Thibault Benistant, 18 ans et champion d’Europe 250cc l’an dernier.<\/p>\n

Avec un lancement de la saison MXGP report\u00e9 \u00e0 la fin mai, l’\u00e9preuve italienne de Riola Sardo arrive assez t\u00f4t dans la saison. \u00abJ’avais esp\u00e9r\u00e9 qu’ils reporteraient \u00e9galement les \u00e9preuves de pr\u00e9paration en Italie, mais ils ne l’ont pas fait\u00a0\u00bb, commente le team manager Marnicq Bervoets. \u00ab\u00a0Nous serons au d\u00e9part \u00e0 Riola Sardo (28\/2), Alghero (7\/3) et peut-\u00eatre Mantova (14\/3). Apr\u00e8s ces trois \u00e9preuves italiennes, il y aura une pause dans les courses de pr\u00e9paration jusqu’\u00e0 Lacapelle, en France, le 25 avril. Cela rend la pr\u00e9paration tr\u00e8s difficile pour les pilotes.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Geerts et Renaux entreront donc en action sur leur YZ250FM d\u00e8s ce dimanche \u00e0 Riola Sardo. Cependant, pas de B\u00e9ninstant sur le premier round de l’Internazionali d’Italia en Sardaigne. Le Fran\u00e7ais a chut\u00e9 lors d’un entra\u00eenement pr\u00e9ci\u00e9ment \u00e0 Riola Sardo il y a deux semaines et s’est cass\u00e9 la clavicule. Bervoets: \u00abUn revers bien s\u00fbr. Mais si cela doit arriver, mieux vaut maintenant que pendant le mondial. Thibault est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pass\u00e9 sous le bistouri en France et si tout se passe comme pr\u00e9vu, il pourra reprendre l’entra\u00eenement moto \u00e0 la mi-mars.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Avec Geerts, Renaux et Benistant, le team Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 dispose d’un trio de jeunes pilotes tr\u00e8s solide. La garde bleue n’a qu’un seul objectif: remporter le titre mondial.
