Au programme, le l\u00e9gendaire Supercross de Daytona Beach et son circuit atypique \u00e9tabli au beau milieu du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre anneau de vitesse \u00ab\u00a0Daytona International Speedway\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Daytona r\u00e9ussit g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement bine \u00e0 Eli Tomac et l&rsquo;\u00e9dition 2021 de l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve n&rsquo;a pas bouscul\u00e9 les habitudes du pilote texan. C&rsquo;est en effet un 5\u00e8me succ\u00e8s en 450 \u00e0 Daytona que le champion en titre a c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 ce samedi en Floride. Il devance Cooper Webb et Aaron Plessinger. Le pilote Yamaha a roul\u00e9 pratiquement toute la course en deuxi\u00e8me position mais s&rsquo;est fait d\u00e9passer dans le tout dernier virage par Cooper Webb. Arriv\u00e9 donc in extremis sur la deuxi\u00e8me marche du podium, l&rsquo;officiel KTM prend quelques points de plus \u00e0 Roczen au cassement provisoire.<\/p>\n<p>Quatri\u00e8me devant Stewart et Barcia, l&rsquo;Allemand arrivera le week-end prochain \u00e0 Arlington (Texas) avec la plaque rouge mais il ne compte plus que 2 petits points d&rsquo;avance d\u00e9sormais sur Cooper Webb qui, \u00e9preuve apr\u00e8s \u00e9preuve, grignote son retard sur le pilote HRC ces derni\u00e8res semaines. Tomac compte encore pour sa part 24 points de retard alors que Barcia est d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 46 points.<\/p>\n<p>Le championnat SX250 Ouest en \u00e9tait \u00e0 Daytona \u00e0 sa deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9preuve cette saison apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;ouverture d&rsquo;Orlando il y a deux semaines. Cameron McAdoo y fait coup double puisque le pilote Kawasaki y signe la premi\u00e8re victoire SX250 de sa carri\u00e8re et qu&rsquo;il se porte par la m\u00eame occasion en t\u00eate du classement provisoire devant Justin Cooper.
