Le v\u00e9t\u00e9ran belge n&rsquo;est autre que le p\u00e8re de Jo\u00ebl Roelants, ancien pilote MXGP dont la carri\u00e8re s&rsquo;est brutalement arr\u00eat\u00e9e il y a un peu plus de six ans lorsqu&rsquo;une chute dans les essais d&rsquo;un GP en Italie le laissait parapl\u00e9gique. Sensibilis\u00e9 \u00e0 la cause, Walter avait souhait\u00e9 profiter de sa participation au rallye et de la visibilit\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il lui offrait pour lancer une campagne de soutien \u00e0 l&rsquo;association \u00ab\u00a0To Walk Again\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Je suis fier de ce que j&rsquo;ai accompli, j&rsquo;ai donn\u00e9 le meilleur de moi-m\u00eame et je l&rsquo;ai fait non seulement pour Jo\u00ebl mais aussi pour tous les autres qui se retrouvent un jour dans la m\u00eame situation que lui\u00a0\u00bb, explique Roelants. \u00ab\u00a0J&rsquo;ai souffert mais j&rsquo;avais encore des sensations dans tout mon corps, c&rsquo;est ce qui m&rsquo;a donn\u00e9 la motivation de me battre jusqu&rsquo;au bout.
