Erik Willems sera habill\u00e9 cette saison par l’\u00e9quipementier fran\u00e7ais Shot Race Gear. Le pilote belge, champion de France Junior E2 en titre, a r\u00e9ussi sa transition vers l’enduro il y a deux ans. Pour 2021, le Braban\u00e7on souhaite poursuivre sa progression dans le championnat du monde FIM Junior d’enduro.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bien qu’Erik ait commenc\u00e9 par se faire un nom en motocross -o\u00f9 il a enregistr\u00e9 deux podiums EMX300 et une m\u00e9daille de bronze au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du championnat EMX300 2018- la d\u00e9couverte de l’enduro lui a ouvert un tout nouveau monde.<\/p>\n

Pour sa toute premi\u00e8re participation aux ISDE en 2019, le spectaculaire pilote belge s’est offert une impressionnante 6e place chez les juniors tout en terminant 10e en E2 et 23e au scratch. Il a aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 l’auteur d’un double succ\u00e8s fran\u00e7ais l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, lorsqu’il a remport\u00e9 les championnats de France juniors au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et en J2. Des r\u00e9sultats prometteurs sur le championnat du monde junior d’enduro compl\u00e8tent un tableau pour le moins prometteur.<\/p>\n

Erik Willems:<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0Je suis ravi de commencer \u00e0 travailler avec Shot, une marque qui a d\u00e9j\u00e0 beaucoup de succ\u00e8s en enduro ! C’est vraiment cool de faire partie de cette grande tradition de pilotes d’enduro Shot, de Pela Renet et Mathias Bellino \u00e0 Graham Jarvis, Alfredo Gomez et maintenant Billy Bolt. Et tout comme eux, je suis aussi un pilote Husqvarna de longue date.<\/p>\n

Je sais que j’ai encore beaucoup de chemin \u00e0 parcourir pour r\u00e9aliser mes propres ambitions, mais je sens vraiment que je suis \u00e0 ma place en enduro. C’est dur, les journ\u00e9es sur la moto sont longues et difficiles, mais j’adore \u00e7a ! Bien s\u00fbr, c’est aussi motivant de pouvoir go\u00fbter pour la premi\u00e8re fois au succ\u00e8s dans une nouvelle discipline. Cette ann\u00e9e, je vise le podium en championnat du monde junior et le titre de champion de Belgique d’enduro dans la cat\u00e9gorie Prestige.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Erik a d\u00e9j\u00e0 en mains beaucoup d’ingr\u00e9dients pour faire bouger les choses en enduro et c’est vraiment divertissant de le voir se battre avec une grande intensit\u00e9 ! Nous pensons qu’il a le potentiel pour aller loin s’il continue \u00e0 travailler comme il l’a fait jusqu’\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n
