Romain Febvre d\u00e9bute la saison 2021 sur une bonne note. L’ancien champion du monde MXGP monte sur la 3\u00e8me marche du premier podium de la saison. Mais il a surtout marqu\u00e9 le GP de Russie de son empreinte en signant les tours les plus rapides en course dans les deux manches.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Si tout ne s’est pas exactement d\u00e9roul\u00e9 comme il l’aurait souhait\u00e9 ce dimanche \u00e0 Orlyonok, Romain Febvre quitte la Russie avec la satisfaction du devoir accompli. L’officiel Kawasaki place sa KX450 sur le podium du premier GP de la saison derri\u00e8re deux autres grands favoris: Tim Gajser et Jeffrey Herlings. Et ce, malgr\u00e9 une deuxi\u00e8me manche o\u00f9 il aurait pu tout perdre, apr\u00e8s avoir men\u00e9 une tr\u00e8s belle premi\u00e8re course qui l’a vu franchir le drapeau \u00e0 damiers en seconde position.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’\u00e9tais derri\u00e8re Pauls Jonass dans les premiers tours de la deuxi\u00e8me manche\u00a0\u00bb, explique Febvre. \u00ab\u00a0Il prenait l’int\u00e9rieur partout et il n’\u00e9tait donc pas facile pour moi de trouver une ouverture. A un moment, alors que j’\u00e9tais vraiment tr\u00e8s proche de lui, il a coup\u00e9 la trajectoire au dernier moment. Dans la manoeuvre, il a heurt\u00e9 ma roue avant, ce qui m’a pouss\u00e9 dans les filets de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. En en sortant, je suis tomb\u00e9, ce qui m’a fait perdre une vingtaine de secondes.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Reparti apr\u00e8s la 15\u00e8me position, Febvre va passer les 15 tours de course restant \u00e0 sortir le grand jeu pour revenir jusqu’en 6\u00e8me position. \u00ab\u00a0Je pensais que tout espoir de podium \u00e9tait perdu mais j’ai donn\u00e9 le maximum pour remonter. Jusqu’\u00e0 l’arriv\u00e9e, je ne savais pas que j’\u00e9tais malgr\u00e9 tout sur le podium. Je me sens bien physiquement et mentalement, je suis vraiment serein. J’ai besoin d’encore un peu de comp\u00e9tition pour augmentera ma vitesse en course mais c’est finalement un bon d\u00e9but de saison\u00a0\u00bb, commente le pilote fran\u00e7ais avant de rappeler que \u00ab\u00a0c’est dans les mauvais jours qu’un championnat se gagne\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n
