Le championnat du monde d’enduro, J\u00e9r\u00e9my Herinne en r\u00eavait. Si ce n’est une apparition lors du GP de Belgique \u00e0 Saint-Hubert en 2015 et deux participations aux Six Jours en 2015 et 2019, son exp\u00e9rience au plus haut niveau de l’enduro restait tr\u00e8s limit\u00e9e au moment d’entamer sa pr\u00e9paration pour cette saison. En ligne de mire pour le pilote Sherco : les places d’honneur sur la Coupe du monde d’enduro Open. Apr\u00e8s 18 mois sans comp\u00e9tition, c’est mission accomplie pour J\u00e9r\u00e9my qui termine chaque journ\u00e9e sur le podium de sa cat\u00e9gorie le week-end dernier au Portugal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’avais \u00e9norm\u00e9ment travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 tous les niveaux en vue de pr\u00e9parer ce GP du Portugal\u00a0\u00bb, explique le pilote Sherco Belgique. \u00ab\u00a0Apr\u00e8s \u00eatre rest\u00e9 18 mois sans disputer la moindre course et vu mon manque d’exp\u00e9riences internationales, il \u00e9tait difficile pour moi de savoir exactement o\u00f9 j’en \u00e9tais. Je suis donc arriv\u00e9 assez crisp\u00e9 sur l’\u00e9preuve vendredi soir. Cela s’est ressenti sur la piste, sans compter que le retard pris sur l’horaire initial nous a contraints de rouler pratiquement dans le noir.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s un vendredi soir encourageant malgr\u00e9 tout, les choses s\u00e9rieuses d\u00e9butaient samedi. Et la journ\u00e9e commen\u00e7ait plut\u00f4t bien pour le Belge. \u00ab\u00a0J’ai entam\u00e9 la journ\u00e9e par un 3\u00e8me temps dans la sp\u00e9ciale cross, suivi par un autre 3\u00e8me temps dans l\u2019extr\u00eame\u00a0\u00bb, confirme J\u00e9r\u00e9my. \u00ab\u00a0Les choses se passaient un peu moins bien dans la\u00a0longue enduro test de pr\u00e8s de 12 minutes (4\u00e8me). Dans la derni\u00e8re sp\u00e9ciale du 1e tour, la super sp\u00e9ciale, je r\u00e9alisait cependant le 2\u00e8me temps, confortant ainsi ma 3\u00e8me place au\u00a0classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.\u00a0\u00bb Un tempo que le pilote Sherco a pu tenir sur le reste de la journ\u00e9e, le menant tout droit vers son premier podium en World Cup !<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Le challenge est \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent d’augmenter mon niveau pour me battre pour la victoire !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

La journ\u00e9e du dimanche a \u00e9t\u00e9 plus chahut\u00e9e, notamment par la m\u00e9t\u00e9o. Mais J\u00e9r\u00e9my a affich\u00e9 une \u00e9norme confiance en lui et une\u00a0d\u00e9termination sans faille. Dans la premi\u00e8re sp\u00e9ciale, malgr\u00e9 la pluie battante, il r\u00e9alisait le 4\u00e8me temps \u00e0 4sec de son \u00e9quipier Gordano Natale. Suite \u00e0 cette grosse averse, la direction de course d\u00e9cidait de neutraliser la sp\u00e9ciale extr\u00eame pour des raisons de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Dans l\u2019enduro test, il r\u00e9alisait encore le 4\u00e8me temps \u00e0 quelques dixi\u00e8mes de Natale en ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 un peu trop prudent.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est dans la super test,\u00a0derni\u00e8re sp\u00e9ciale du 1er tour, que je suis vraiment pass\u00e9 \u00e0 l’offensive\u00a0\u00bb, explique Herinne. \u00ab\u00a0J’ai repris 12 secondes \u00e0 Gordano et j’ai pu ainsi me hisser \u00e0 la 3\u00e8me place du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Le 2\u00e8me tour m’a ensuite permise de conforter ma place sur le podium. Les conditions \u00e9tant meilleures, la direction avait rouvert l\u2019extr\u00eame et elle m’a permis de me mettre \u00e0 l’abri vis-\u00e0-vis de Gordano. Dans l’enduro test, j’ai ensuite r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le 2\u00e8me temps.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Une belle mani\u00e8re de terminer cette seconde journ\u00e9e de course. Une journ\u00e9e au terme de laquelle il monte pour la seconde fois du week-end sur le podium de sa cat\u00e9gorie. Deux podiums en 2 jours, que demander de plus pour une entr\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re ? \u00ab\u00a0Le challenge est \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent d’augmenter encore mon niveau pour arriver \u00e0 me battre pour la victoire !\u00a0\u00bb, lance le pilote Sherco. \u00ab\u00a0Merci \u00e0 tous ceux qui me permettent d’\u00eatre l\u00e0 o\u00f9 je suis aujourd’hui et en particulier \u00e0 mon suiveur C\u00e9dric Clippe qui a effectu\u00e9 un boulot sensationnel ce week-end \u00e0 mes c\u00f4t\u00e9s.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
