Jeffrey Herlings a remport\u00e9 ce dimanche le GP de Maggiora, en Italie, 3\u00e8me \u00e9preuve du championnat du monde de motocross MXGP. Le Hollandais s’est impos\u00e9 devant Glenn Coldenhoff et Antonio Cairoli. Tim Gajser se contente de la septi\u00e8me place et voit revenir Herlings \u00e0 6 points de lui au classement provisoire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Il n’aura donc fallu que 3 GP seulement \u00e0 Jeffrey Herlings pour retrouver le chemin du succ\u00e8s. Gri\u00e8vement bless\u00e9 l’\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier en Italie, Herlings a travaill\u00e9 dur ces derniers mois pour arriver en forme sur le championnat MXGP. Et le travail paie.<\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re manche a sembl\u00e9 n’\u00eatre qu’une formalit\u00e9 pour Romain Febvre. Le Fran\u00e7ais a men\u00e9 la course de bout en bout et a su se m\u00e9nager une avance suffisante que pour ne jamais \u00eatre r\u00e9ellement sous la pression de ses adversaires. Derri\u00e8re, ce sont Jorge Prado et Antonio Cairoli qui ont men\u00e9 la chasse, eux -m\u00eames poursuivis par Coldenhoff, Gajser et Herlings. Au 5\u00e8me tour, Herlings s’est soudainement arr\u00eat\u00e9 pour une raison que l’on ignore encore. Il est reparti en 10\u00e8me position et a fait le forcing pour franchir le drapeau \u00e0 damiers en 6\u00e8me position. Devant, Febvre s’imposait facilement devant Prado, Cairoli, Coldenhoff et Tim Gajser, revenu de la 11\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n

Belle remont\u00e9e \u00e9galement pour J\u00e9remy Van Horebeek, revenu de tr\u00e8s loin pour prendre la 11\u00e8me position \u00e0 l’arriv\u00e9e, juste derri\u00e8re Brent Van Doninck.<\/p>\n

La pluie s’invite sur la deuxi\u00e8me manche<\/strong><\/p>\n

Changement de d\u00e9cor pour la seconde manche puisque la plui s’est invit\u00e9e au programme juste avant le d\u00e9part. La course s’est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e sous une pluie soutenue, ce qui a aussi fait de la \u00ab\u00a0Goggle Lane\u00a0\u00bb un endroit strat\u00e9gique de cette course. Glenn Coldenhoff a eu la chance de partir en t\u00eate, poursuivi par son compatriote Jeffrey Herlings. Tim Gajser \u00e9tait encore une fois moins bien parti, le pilote HRC \u00e9tant point\u00e9 en d\u00e9but de course \u00e0 la 12\u00e8me place seulement.<\/p>\n

Devant, Herlings prenait en fin de course le meilleur sur Coldenhoff et filait vers son premier succ\u00e8s de la saison devant son compatriote et Antonio Cairoli, qui a d\u00fb effectuer une bonne partie de la course sans lunettes. Romain Febvre aussi a rapidement d\u00fb se d\u00e9barrasser de ses lunettes mais le Fran\u00e7ais a pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 prendre le temps de repasser par la \u00ab\u00a0Goggle Lane\u00a0\u00bb afin d’en prendre de nouvelles. Il a h\u00e9las chut\u00e9 \u00e0 deux reprises, voyant ainsi ses chances de podium d\u00e9finitivement s’envoler.<\/p>\n

Une victoire au m\u00eame moment o\u00f9 Gajser signe son premier GP en demi-teinte de la saison permet \u00e0 Herlings de revenir \u00e0 6 petits points du pilote Honda au classement provisoire MXGP. Romain Febvre (1+12) conserve la 3\u00e8me place devant Antonio Cairoli et Jorge Prado. Dixi\u00e8me du GP italien, Jeremy Van Horebeek place sa Beta \u00e9galement \u00e0 la 10\u00e8me place du classement provisoire MXGP devant Thomas Kjer Olsen, Ben Watson et Kevin Strijbos, 16\u00e8me du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u00e0 Maggiora juste derri\u00e8re son co\u00e9quipier Van Doninck.<\/p>\n

Rendez-vous dans deux semaines \u00e0 Oss, en Hollande, pour le premier GP de sable de la saison.<\/p>\n
