Le week-end dernier, l’heure de la reprise a sonn\u00e9 pour Benjamin Doneux. Le pilote de Bi\u00e8vre s’alignait \u00e0 Sommauthe sur le championnat r\u00e9gional fran\u00e7ais du Grand Est. Une premi\u00e8re course de l’ann\u00e9e qui s’est sold\u00e9e par un podium.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je ne savais vraiment pas \u00e0 quoi m’attendre\u00a0\u00bb, explique Benjamin, \u00ab\u00a0car je ne connais pas bien les pilotes qui roulent en France et, surtout, j’avais du mal \u00e0 \u00e9valuer mon niveau. Je n’avais plus roul\u00e9 en course depuis les quelques courses que j’avais disput\u00e9es en 2020 et, en comparaison avec les autres ann\u00e9es, j’ai tr\u00e8s peu roul\u00e9 durant l’hiver. Non seulement, il \u00e9tait difficile d’aller s’entra\u00eener en France puisque les fronti\u00e8res ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement ferm\u00e9es \u00e0 cause des mesures sanitaires mais, en outre, mon p\u00e8re s’est malheureusement bless\u00e9 cet hiver et j’ai d\u00fb beaucoup m’impliquer dans la gestion de notre entreprise familiale. Tout cela fait que je n’avais repris la moto que quelques semaines avant cette premi\u00e8re course. Par contre, j’ai fait pas mal de v\u00e9lo durant tout l’hiver.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0On a roul\u00e9 dans la grosse boue \u00e0 Sommauthe dimanche dernier !\u00a0\u00bb poursuit le pilote KTM. \u00ab\u00a0Je pense que si certains comme Daymond Martens n’avaient pas insist\u00e9 pour qu’on roule, le club aurait annul\u00e9 l’\u00e9preuve. Mais on a roul\u00e9, dans des conditions tr\u00e8s difficiles donc. Je me suis retrouv\u00e9 coinc\u00e9 dans une chute en d\u00e9but de premi\u00e8re manche, ce qui a fait que j’ai d\u00fb me lancer dans une remont\u00e9e un peu \u00e0 l’aveugle, sans vraiment savoir o\u00f9 j’en \u00e9tais par rapport \u00e0 mes concurrents. Mais je termine 3\u00e8me, ce qui est une bonne surprise.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Dans la deuxi\u00e8me manche, je suis mieux parti mais je n’ai pas pu suivre le rythme des deux leaders, Mike Bormas et Daymond Martens. Je termine donc sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium \u00e0 deux reprises et 2\u00e8me pilote 250cc. C’est donc tr\u00e8s positif pour une reprise.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Benjamin Doneux partagera ses weekends entre les organisations AMPL et certaines courses en France.<\/p><\/div>\n

La suite de la saison de Benjamin d\u00e9pendra des opportunit\u00e9s qui se pr\u00e9senteront, en fonction des organisations qui se tiendront ou non. \u00ab\u00a0Si la Chinelle a bien lieu, j’ai pr\u00e9vu de la disputer avec R\u00e9mi Fraikin et un 3\u00e8me pilote encore \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer. Toujours en endurance, je devrais \u00e9galement \u00eatre au d\u00e9part en septembre des 20 Heures de Compi\u00e8gne, dans un team support\u00e9 par KTM Belgique. Pour le motocross, je ne vais pas me focaliser sur les \u00e9preuves AMPL cette ann\u00e9e. Il n’y aura a priori que 9 courses. Je serai \u00e0 W\u00e9ris le 25 juillet sur la premi\u00e8re mais pour la suite, on verra en fonction des circuits. Je compte bien participer \u00e0 plusieurs \u00e9preuves en France.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

En fin de saison, Benjamin devrait \u00e9galement tenter sa chance sur le championnat de France des Sables. \u00ab\u00a0J’ai achet\u00e9 une SX-F 450 en vue de participer au Touquet. Ce sera ma premi\u00e8re participation sur l’\u00e9preuve phare mais j’y ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 roul\u00e9 en 85 et en 125cc. Malheureusement, ces deux tentatives se sont toutes les deux sold\u00e9es par une casse moteur. Esp\u00e9rons que cette ann\u00e9e soit la bonne ! Id\u00e9alement, j’aimerais participer au moins \u00e0 une autre course du CFS avant le Touquet afin de me pr\u00e9parer au mieux. On verra, rien n’est d\u00e9cid\u00e9 \u00e0 ce niveau.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

En tout cas, la saison 2021 est d\u00e9sormais bel et bien lanc\u00e9e pour Benjamin que l’on devrait donc voir encore jouer les premiers r\u00f4les chez les Inters de l’AMPL cette ann\u00e9e. \u00ab\u00a0Merci \u00e0 mes partenaires et en particulier \u00e0 la biscuitterie Brichard, \u00e0 mon concessionnaire Jean-Claude P\u00eacheur et \u00e0 ma famille qui rendent tout cela possible\u00a0\u00bb, ajoute-t-il pour conclure.<\/p>\n
