Eli Tomac a enfin remport\u00e9 son premier succ\u00e8s de la saison sur le championnat outdoor US. Il aura fallu au champion sortant attendre la 10\u00e8me \u00e9preuve de la saison pour retrouver la plus haute marche du podium et devenir le 5\u00e8me vainqueur diff\u00e9rent cette ann\u00e9e dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dylan Ferrandis a fait jeu \u00e9gal avec le pilote Kawasaki ce week-end \u00e0 Ironman. Vainqueur de la premi\u00e8re manche, il s’incline dans la seconde et ne doit qu’\u00e0 la pr\u00e9pond\u00e9rance du r\u00e9sultat de la seconde manche de devoir se contenter de la deuxi\u00e8me marche du podium. Le Fran\u00e7ais monte sur son 10\u00e8me podium de la saison, en autant d’\u00e9preuves. Derri\u00e8re, c’est Cooper Webb (4+3) qui monte sur son premier podium du championnat.<\/p>\n

Troisi\u00e8me et cinqui\u00e8me dans les manches, Ken Roczen se contente de la 4\u00e8me place devant son co\u00e9quipier Chase Sexton et permet ainsi \u00e0 Ferrandis de compter 50 points d’avance au moment d’entrer dans le sprint final de la saison. L’\u00e9preuve de Pala, en Californie, la semaine prochaine, pourrait donc d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00eatre d\u00e9cisive et voir le Fran\u00e7ais coiffer sa premi\u00e8re couronne dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine du MX US.<\/p>\n

On notera que tant Marvin Musquin que Max Anstie n’ont pu prendre part \u00e0 l’\u00e9preuve d’Ironman ce week-end, les deux pilotes ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9s positifs au Covid-19.<\/p>\n

En MX250, les choses sont toujours bien plus ind\u00e9cises. En remportant les deux manches \u00e0 Ironman, Jett Lawrence signe son 3\u00e8me succ\u00e8s de la saison. Surtout, le jeune Australien se replace en t\u00eate du classement provisoire avec 11 points de plus que Justin Cooper, 3\u00e8me ce week-end derri\u00e8re Jo Shimoda.<\/p>\n
