La boucle est boucl\u00e9e. En mai dernier, Dylan Ferrandis cr\u00e9ait la surprise en remportant sur le Fox Raceway de Pala, en Californie, l’\u00e9preuve d’ouverture du championnat outdoor \u00e0 l’occasion de ce qui \u00e9tait sa toute premi\u00e8re course en MX 450 aux USA. Moins de quatre mois plus tard, au terme de 11 \u00e9preuves sur lesquelles il a affich\u00e9 une constance sans faille qu’aucun de ses adversaires n’a pu revendiquer, le Fran\u00e7ais s’offre son premier titre dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine du motocross US. Pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment \u00e0 Pala.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le Fox Raceway accueillait en effet ce week-end l’avant dernier round de la saison US de motocross. Arriv\u00e9 avec 50 points d’avance sur Ken Roczen au classement provisoire, il suffisait \u00e0 Ferrandis de faire au minimum jeu \u00e9gal avec son rival allemand pour s’assurer du titre outdoor 2021. Et encore une fois, le pilote Yamaha a \u00e9t\u00e9 au rendez-vous. Vainqueur de la premi\u00e8re manche, il laisse Tomac s’imposer dans la seconde et remporter ainsi sa deuxi\u00e8me victoire de la saison.<\/p>\n

En montant sur son 11\u00e8me podium de la saison (en autant d’\u00e9preuves) aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Tomac et de Webb (4+3), Ferrandis s’assure du titre 450 une \u00e9preuve avant la fin de la saison, Roczen, \u00e0 62 points, ne pouvant d\u00e9sormais plus le rejoindre.<\/p>\n

Il s’agit d\u00e9j\u00e0 du 4\u00e8me titre US pour Ferrandis apr\u00e8s ses 3 titres conquis en 250 durant les saisons 2019 (SX) et 2020 (SX et MX).<\/p>\n

Finale du championnat le week-end prochain \u00e0 Hangtown.<\/p>\n
