Il \u00e9tait pass\u00e9 tout pr\u00e8s lors du GP d’ouverture de la saison en Bulgarie, il n’a cette fois pas laiss\u00e9 passer sa chance! Steven Frossard a offert aujourd’hui \u00e0\u00a0 Saint-Jean au public fran\u00e7ais son tout premier succ\u00e8s dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine. Le pilote Yamaha revient au 3\u00e8me rang dans un championnat toujours men\u00e9 par Desalle, \u00e0\u00a0 qui une chute en d\u00e9but de premi\u00e8re manche a fait perdre de pr\u00e9cieux points. En MX2, Tommy Searle profite d’un faux pas de Ken Roczen pour s’offrir sa premi\u00e8re victoire de la saison.<\/p>\n

Vainqueur hier apr\u00e8s-midi de la manche qualificative MX1, Cl\u00e9ment Desalle attendait sans doute mieux du rendez-vous fran\u00e7ais. Une chute au second virage de la premi\u00e8re manche est venue contrecarrer les plans de l’officiel Suzuki. Reparti en derni\u00e8re position, il devait en effet se lancer dans une folle remont\u00e9e qui le m\u00e8nera en 11\u00e8me position. Voil\u00e0\u00a0 qui a priv\u00e9 Cl\u00e9ment de se m\u00ealer \u00e0\u00a0 la lutte pour la victoire entre Steven Frossard, parti en t\u00eate et qui finira par s’isoler pour s’imposer, Antonio Cairoli et David Philippaerts.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Mais Cl\u00e9ment se reprend ensuite superbement en dominant la seconde manche de bout en bout pour s’imposer devant le h\u00e9ros du jour, Steven Frossard. Le Fran\u00e7ais est en effet parvenu \u00e0\u00a0 effacer un d\u00e9part moyen pour revenir \u00e0\u00a0 une seconde position qui lui permet de monter pour la toute premi\u00e8re fois de sa carri\u00e8re sur la plus haute marche d’un podium MX1. Et ce, devant un public fran\u00e7ais qui osait \u00e0\u00a0 peine y croire! Lui aussi plut\u00f4t mal parti, Cairoli remonte en 3\u00e8me position pour s’adjuger la seconde place du GP devant Desalle.<\/p>\n

Une victoire en seconde manche qui limite donc les d\u00e9g\u00e0\u00a2ts au championnat pour Desalle, qui voit n\u00e9anmoins revenir \u00e0\u00a0 6 points d\u00e9sormais le double champion MX1 en titre Antonio Cairoli. Frossard remonte en 3\u00e8me position, \u00e0\u00a0 20 points de Desalle.<\/p>\n

MX2: premier succ\u00e8s pour Tommy Searle<\/strong><\/p>\n

Domin\u00e9 jusqu’\u00e0\u00a0 pr\u00e9sent par le duo KTM Roczen\/Herlings, Tommy Searle est enfin parvenu \u00e0\u00a0 s’offrir un premier succ\u00e8s cette saison. Quatri\u00e8me d’une premi\u00e8re manche dans laquelle seul un Gautier Paulin d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0\u00a0 briller sur ses terres parvenait \u00e0\u00a0 faire illusion face \u00e0\u00a0 Ken Roczen une fois de plus imp\u00e9rial, Tommy Searle voyait le vent tourner en sa faveur dans la seconde. Une chute en tout d\u00e9but de course rel\u00e9guait en effet Roczen en queue de peloton et Herlings en profitait pour s’installer au commandement de la course d\u00e8s le 7\u00e8me tour. Mais Searle s’accroche et parvient \u00e0\u00a0 garder le contact avec le Hollandais et profite m\u00eame, alors que 2 tours restent \u00e0\u00a0 couvrir,\u00a0d’un bref moment d’h\u00e9sitation du pilote KTM pour se glisser en t\u00eate et filer vers la victoire! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Searle remporte le GP devant Zach Osborne (3+3), Gautier Paulin (2+4) et Jeffrey Herlings (7+2). Ce dernier profite de la maigre 11\u00e8me place de Roczen en seconde manche pour lui grapiller quelques points au classement provisoire et revenir \u00e0\u00a0 13 points de son co\u00e9quipier. Searle suit en 3\u00e8me position avec 27 points de retard.<\/p>\n
