Apr\u00e8s avoir brill\u00e9 en France, Lucas et Sacha Coenen font forte impression cette ann\u00e9e sur le championnat EMX125. Si Sacha, vainqueur d’une manche cette saison sur le championnat, est actuellement \u00e9loign\u00e9 des circuits par une blessure \u00e0 la main, son fr\u00e8re Lucas a align\u00e9 les podiums ces derni\u00e8res semaines jusqu’\u00e0 signer un doubl\u00e9 autoritaire le week-end dernier \u00e0 Arco di Trento.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A 14 ans \u00e0 peine, les jumeaux bruxellois s’imposent comme la rel\u00e8ve du motocross belge, dans la foul\u00e9e de Liam Everts, 17 ans. Une visibilit\u00e9 sans cesse croissante pour les pilotes Bud Racing \u00e0 qui\u00a0 Sporza vient de consacrer un sujet.<\/p>\n

Sans surprise, Lucas d\u00e9clare au micro de la cha\u00eene flamande qu’il fait de la 3\u00e8me place finale du championnat d’Europe 125cc son objectif prioritaire pour les jours qui viennent. Il ne lui manque plus d\u00e9sormais que 4 points pour se hisser \u00e0 la hauteur du Hollandais Kay Karssemakers et s’offrir la m\u00e9daille de bronze.<\/p>\n

Par contre, \u00e0 plus long terme, pas vraiment d’ambitions europ\u00e9ennes pour les fr\u00e8res Coenen. Sans fermer compl\u00e8tement la porte au MXGP, Lucas avoue en effet r\u00eaver avant tout d’une carri\u00e8re aux Etats-Unis, o\u00f9 les jumeaux se verraient bien \u00e9voluer apr\u00e8s une saison en MX2. Il annonce d’ailleurs s’y pr\u00e9parer en s’entra\u00eenant en Supercross.
