Jago Geerts s’est impos\u00e9 ce mercredi sur le dernier des 18 GP de la saison mondiale de motocross 2021. Vainqueur de la premi\u00e8re manche puis deuxi\u00e8me dans la seconde, le pilote Yamaha monte sur la plus haute marche du podium pour la deuxi\u00e8me fois cons\u00e9cutive \u00e0 Mantova. Le nouveau champion du monde Maxime Renaux (3+1) et le jeune Hollandais Kay De Wolf (2+6) l’accompagnent sur le dernier podium de l’ann\u00e9e.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jago Geerts termine donc la saison en beaut\u00e9. En plus de cet ultime succ\u00e8s avant l’entre-saison, le Belge offre \u00e0 Yamaha et \u00e0 son team manager Marnicq Bervoets, dont il s’agissait aujourd’hui du dernier GP \u00e0 la t\u00eate du team Kemea Yamaha, le doubl\u00e9 sur ce mondial MX2.<\/p>\n

Il comble en effet d’autant plus facilement l’\u00e9cart de 7 points qui le s\u00e9paraient de Tom Vialle que celui-ci a chut\u00e9 en premi\u00e8re manche alors qu’il \u00e9tait en deuxi\u00e8me position. Bless\u00e9 au poignet, il ne repartira pas et ne prendra pas le d\u00e9part de la seconde manche. L’officiel KTM se contente donc de la m\u00e9daille de bronze au classement final du championnat. Guadagnini et Beaton compl\u00e8tent le top-5 de la hi\u00e9rarchie MX2.<\/p>\n
