Eli Tomac a remport\u00e9 haut la main ce samedi soir le round d’ouverture du championnat du monde de Supercross dans le stade de Cardiff, au Pays de Galle. Le champion US devance Ken Roczen et Vince Friese.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La saison 2022 restera d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment comme celle d’Eli Tomac. Pass\u00e9 de Kawasaki \u00e0 Yamaha l’hiver dernier, le Texan conna\u00eet cette ann\u00e9e la meilleure saison de sa carri\u00e8re. Champion SX450, il a remport\u00e9 avec la mani\u00e8re le titre outdoor 450 dans la foul\u00e9e avant de participer \u00e0 la reconqu\u00eate du titre sur le Motocross des Nations pour le compte des USA. Ce soir, c’est le tout nouveau championnat du monde de Supercross (WSX) que l’officiel Yamaha marque de son empreinte.<\/p>\n

Vainqueur des deux finales de la cat\u00e9gorie reine, il termine la soir\u00e9e en s’imposant dans la Superfinale. Un tripl\u00e9 qui vaut au pilote Yamaha de s’imposer facilement devant un r\u00e9gulier Ken Roczen (3+2+4) et un excellent Vince Friese (2+3+5). Au pied du podium, Justin Brayton devance Josh Hill alors que C\u00e9dric Soubeyras place la Kawasaki du team Bud Racing aux portes du top-5.<\/p>\n

Prochain round du championnat WSX: les 22 et 23 octobre \u00e0 Melbourne, en Australie.<\/p>\n

MotoConcepts Honda\u2019s Vince Friese was als beste weg in de tweede race. Die werd net zoals in de SX2 erg snel achter de aankomst van de eerste gehouden! Tomac was buiten de top-3 gestart maar kwam al in de vierde ronde op kop. De Monster Energy Yamaha rijder zou de leiding niet meer af staan. Roczen kwam als tweede over de meet voor vroege leider Friese. De Fransman C\u00e9dric Soubeyras bewees nogmaals zijn klasse in een sterk deelnemersveld en eindigde vierde.<\/p>\n
