Marc-Reiner Schmidt roule sur les traces de St\u00e9phane Chambon. L’Allemand est devenu ce dimanche le deuxi\u00e8me quintuple vainqueur du Superbiker de Mettet. Une performance pour l’Allemand qui \u00e9gale \u00e0 l’occasion du 35\u00e8me anniversaire de l’\u00e9preuve le record de victoires de celui qui a marqu\u00e9 l’histoire du Superbiker au point d’\u00eatre surnomm\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Le petit prince de Mettet\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2015, 2018, 2019, 2021… et maintenant 2022 : les victoires s’accumulent \u00e0 Mettet pour Marc-Reiner Schmidt. L’Allemand semble impossible \u00e0 arr\u00eater et sa victoire ce dimanche ne doit rien au hasard. Le week-end prochain, il tentera de reconduire son titre mondial dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine du Supermoto en France, face \u00e0 Lukas H\u00f6llbacher. L’Autrichien \u00e9tait sans doute d’ailleurs le seul \u00e0 \u00eatre en mesure de lui donner la r\u00e9plique sur le circuit de Mettet mais une chute en demi-finale le contraignait \u00e0 partir en fond de grille dans le Superbiker. Alors que H\u00f6llbacher se battait comme un beau diable pour revenir jusqu’au 6\u00e8me rang sous le drapeau \u00e0 damiers, la voie royale \u00e9tait toute trac\u00e9e pour Marc-Reiner Schmidt qui n’a laiss\u00e9 \u00e0 personne le soin de mener la couse du premier au dernier tour.<\/p>\n

Lukas H\u00f6llbacher contraint de se battre pour la 6\u00e8me place, le Fran\u00e7ais Youry Catherine et l\u2019Italien Elia Sammartin acc\u00e8dent au podium de Mettet devant le Britannique Davey Todd et le meilleur Belge actuel dans la discipline Romain Kaivers qui referme donc le top-5.<\/p>\n
