Ce lundi, la deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9tape du Dakar emmenait les concurrents de Sea Camp vers Alula, avec 430 kilom\u00e8tres de sp\u00e9ciale.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Sanders, d\u00e9j\u00e0 le plus rapide hier avant d’\u00eatre p\u00e9nalis\u00e9 pour exc\u00e8s de vitesse, a une nouvelle fois \u00e9cras\u00e9 la concurrence sur cette deuxi\u00e8me journ\u00e9e de course. L’officiel GasGas s’est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le premier face \u00e0 la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e… avant de repartir faire un petit tour pour laisser le jeune Mason Klein remporter sa premi\u00e8re sp\u00e9ciale sur le Dakar. Sanders est finalement 9\u00e8me et a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 avoir agi de la sorte afin de ne pas avoir \u00e0 partir en \u00e9claireur demain pour la 3\u00e8me \u00e9tape.<\/p>\n

Au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, Klein m\u00e8ne d\u00e9sormais la danse devant Price et Barreda.<\/p>\n

Adrien Van Beveren s’est montr\u00e9 tr\u00e8s prudent ce lundi sur une \u00e9tape qui faisait la part belle aux cailloux. Ne voulant prendre aucun risque, l’officiel Honda n’a pas forc\u00e9 son talent et se contente de la 16\u00e8me place, \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 6 minutes de Klein. Il termine juste derri\u00e8re Ricky Brabec, vainqueur hier de la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape.<\/p>\n

Notre compatriote J\u00e9r\u00f4me Martiny a pour sa part \u00e9t\u00e9 contrari\u00e9 par la m\u00e9canique. \u00ab\u00a0Depuis le kilom\u00e8tre 116, ma moto a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 avoir des probl\u00e8mes. Elle ratatouillait et a m\u00eame fait mine de vouloir s’arr\u00eater\u00a0\u00bb, confiait-il une fois arriv\u00e9 vaille que vaille au ravitaillement en essence. \u00ab\u00a0Je ne peux malheureusement pas faire de m\u00e9canique ici, je vais donc repartir… Si elle s’arr\u00eate, je verrai ce que je peux faire, je n’ai pas le choix. Je pense que c’est un probl\u00e8me d’injecteur. Si je dois changer d’injecteur, j’en ai un avec moi mais je suis parti pour une heure !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Martiny rejoindra finalement la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e en 52\u00e8me position, \u00e0 une heure et 15 minutes du vainqueur du jour. Au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, le pilote Anquety Motor Sport pointe d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 la 48\u00e8mr place.<\/p>\n

Demain, la 3\u00e8me \u00e9tape conduira les concurrents d’Alula \u00e0 Ha’il. Une \u00e9tape de 668 kilom\u00e8tres, dont 447 de sp\u00e9ciale.<\/p>\n
