Apr\u00e8s deux bonnes courses de pr\u00e9-saison, Romain Febvre est pr\u00eat pour la premi\u00e8re manche du championnat du monde de motocross en Argentine ce week-end.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’hiver a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s charg\u00e9 pour le Fran\u00e7ais qui a subi une intervention chirurgicale juste apr\u00e8s le dernier GP de 2022 pour retirer une broche dans la jambe.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Le chirurgien en a \u00e9galement profit\u00e9 pour nettoyer le genou et j’ai donc d\u00fb attendre la fin du mois de novembre pour reprendre l’entra\u00eenement physique et plus tard la moto. Pour la premi\u00e8re fois depuis longtemps, je peux courir et m’entra\u00eener physiquement sans douleur, et c’est tr\u00e8s bien d’avoir un hiver solide pour pr\u00e9parer la saison\u00a0\u00bb, explique Romain, qui a \u00e9galement d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de subir une nouvelle op\u00e9ration mineure aux avant-bras en janvier.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Il y a deux ans, j’ai ressenti des douleurs dans les bras et j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 op\u00e9r\u00e9, puis l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, lorsque je suis revenu apr\u00e8s six mois, les douleurs sont r\u00e9apparues. C’est assez habituel quand on ne roule pas pendant une longue p\u00e9riode, mais apr\u00e8s un entra\u00eenement et des tests intensifs cet hiver, j’ai de nouveau ressenti la douleur, alors je n’ai pas voulu prendre de risques et je me suis fait op\u00e9rer en janvier. J’ai d\u00fb arr\u00eater de rouler pendant quelques semaines, c’est pourquoi je n’ai pas particip\u00e9 aux internationaux d’Ialie cet hiver.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Pour la neuvi\u00e8me fois de sa carri\u00e8re, Romain s’alignera dans la cat\u00e9gorie MXGP o\u00f9 il a remport\u00e9 le titre mondial en 2015. Il a manqu\u00e9 de peu un deuxi\u00e8me titre en 2021, sa deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e avec Kawasaki. C’est bien s\u00fbr son principal objectif cette ann\u00e9e : d\u00e9crocher \u00e0 nouveau l’or.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Il est impossible d’expliquer \u00e0 quel point on se sent bien lorsqu’on est champion du monde. D\u00e9j\u00e0 enfant, je r\u00eavais d’obtenir un titre au moins une fois ; c’\u00e9tait un r\u00eave au d\u00e9part, mais quand je l’ai enfin obtenu, j’en ai voulu davantage. Lorsque vous pratiquez un sport, quel qu’il soit, vous voulez \u00eatre le meilleur, mais ce n’est pas facile. Lorsque vous manquez le coche \u00e0 quelques points pr\u00e8s, comme en 2021, vous repensez \u00e0 la saison et vous voyez o\u00f9 vous auriez pu gagner ces quelques points de plus. Et ce n’est pas facile \u00e0 accepter\u00a0\u00bb, analyse l’officiel Kawasaki.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0En 2021, je manquais parfois de vitesse par rapport \u00e0 Herlings\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Fort de son exp\u00e9rience, il sait \u00e0 quel point l’approche mentale est importante. \u00ab\u00a0L’aspect mental est une pi\u00e8ce importante du puzzle ! M\u00eame si vous travaillez dur et que vous \u00eates pr\u00eat \u00e0 relever le d\u00e9fi, vous savez avant le d\u00e9part de chaque course qu’elle sera difficile. \u00catre fort mentalement peut vous aider \u00e0 g\u00e9rer la pression, et c’est quelque chose que vous devez avoir en vous. On l’a ou on ne l’a pas, \u00e7a ne s’apprend pas.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Les courses de pr\u00e9-saison ont \u00e9t\u00e9 plut\u00f4t bonnes pour Romain, qui est mont\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs reprises sur le podium, mais il est maintenant temps de passer \u00e0 l’\u00e9chelon sup\u00e9rieur avec le lancement du championnat MXGP.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je suis presque \u00e0 100 % maintenant et la saison sera vraiment longue. J’adore ce circuit en Argentine, et l’objectif sera de marquer le plus de points possible \u00e0 chaque manche. Je sais qu’en 2021, je manquais parfois de vitesse par rapport \u00e0 Herlings, et c’est un point sur lequel nous avons travaill\u00e9 avec Kevin Strijbos. Si je prends r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement de bons d\u00e9parts, comme lors de la premi\u00e8re manche \u00e0 Hawkstone, je sais de quoi nous sommes capables cette saison.
