Jago Geerts a domin\u00e9 ce dimanche l’\u00e9preuve d’ouverture du championnat du monde MX2. Notre compatriote s’installe logiquement en t\u00eate du championnat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sur le circuit argentin de Neuquen, Jago Geerts a sign\u00e9 ce week-end le score parfait. Vainqueur samedi de la manche qualificative, le Belge s’est ensuite impos\u00e9 dimanche dans les deux manches du jour. Il monte sur le premier podium MX2 de la saison devant l’Italien Andrea Adamo (3+3) et le Fran\u00e7ais Thibault Benistant (2+8).<\/p>\n

Au classement provisoire du championnat, Geerts s’installe d’embl\u00e9e aux commandes gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cet imparable sans-faute. Aux 50 points gagn\u00e9s aujourd’hui dans les manches, il ajoute les 10 points que vaut d\u00e9sormais une victoire en manche qualificative. Ce qui permet au pilote Yamaha de d\u00e9j\u00e0 compter 11 points d’avance sur Adamo et 19 sur Benistant.<\/p>\n

Cinqui\u00e8me de la premi\u00e8re manche, Liam Everts a chut\u00e9 dans le premier tour de la seconde. Reparti au-d\u00e9l\u00e0 de la 20\u00e8me place, l’officiel KTM remontera jusqu’\u00e0 la 13\u00e8me place pour prendre le 9\u00e8me rang du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n

Neuvi\u00e8me de la seconde manche, Lucas Coenen avait sign\u00e9 le holeshot dans la premi\u00e8re mais avait ensuite tr\u00e8s vite \u00e9t\u00e9 contraint \u00e0 l’abandon apr\u00e8s s’\u00eatre accroch\u00e9 avec Simon Laengenfelder.<\/p>\n

Dans deux semaines, la saison MXGP se poursuivra avec le premier rendez-vous europ\u00e9en de la saison dans le sable de Riola Sardo, en Sardaigne.<\/p>\n
