Une belle surprise pour l&rsquo;ancien leader du championnat du monde MX2 puisqu&rsquo;il esp\u00e9rait initialement reprendre la comp\u00e9tition \u00e0 la fin du mois seulement. Geerts s&rsquo;\u00e9tait fractur\u00e9 le poignet dans la manche qualificative du GP de France.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ce jeudi,\u00a0j\u2019\u00e9tais attendu \u00e0 l\u2018h\u00f4pital de Genk pour un scan de mon poignet, pour v\u00e9rifier s\u2019il y avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 une bonne production de calcium\u00a0\u00bb, explique le pilote Yamaha. \u00ab\u00a0Apr\u00e8s le scan, j\u2019avais un rendez-vous avec le chirurgien Joris Duerinkx pour discuter des images. Ma fracture gu\u00e9rit tr\u00e8s bien et mon m\u00e9decin m\u2019a donn\u00e9 le feu vert pour faire un essai avec la moto. Entre 18 et 19h00 j\u2019ai fait un test sur le circuit de Genk et je dois dire que cela s\u2019est mieux pass\u00e9 que je ne l\u2019avais pens\u00e9. Il y a quelques minutes, j\u2019ai obtenu l\u2019approbation du m\u00e9decin de la FIM. Je serai donc derri\u00e8re la grille de d\u00e9part \u00e0 Teutschenthal ce week-end.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Voil\u00e0 qui fait rena\u00eetre l&rsquo;espoir dans le clan du Limbourgeois. Absent des GP de France et de Lettonie, il a vu son avantage en t\u00eate du classement provisoire MX2 fondre comme neige au soleil pour accuser un retard sur le nouveau leader Kay De Wolf de 48 points avant d&rsquo;entamer le GP d&rsquo;Allemagne ce samedi.
