Romain Febvre est assur\u00e9ment l’homme fort de l’\u00e9t\u00e9 sur le championnat MXGP. Vainqueur des deux rounds indon\u00e9siens d\u00e9but juillet, vainqueur du GP de Loket le week-end dernier, le voici qui s’impose aujourd’hui dans le sable de Lommel. Le Fran\u00e7ais remporte ainsi son quatri\u00e8me succ\u00e8s cons\u00e9cutif cette saison.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Victorieux hier de la manche qualificative, Glenn Coldenhoff s’est \u00e9lanc\u00e9 en t\u00eate de la premi\u00e8re manche. Mais Romain Febvre, qui avait montr\u00e9 hier apr\u00e8s-midi une belle aisance dans le sable limbourgeois, a saut\u00e9 dans sa roue. Et cette fois, le pilote Kawasaki ne tarde pas \u00e0 prendre le meilleur sur son rival hollandais. L’ancien champion du monde MXGP file vers la victoire alors que Prado, sixi\u00e8me seulement \u00e0 la fin du premier tour, coiffe in extremis Calvin Vlaanderen pour la 3\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n

Prado s’envole en t\u00eate lors du second d\u00e9part alors que Febvre se laisse cette fois enfermer dans le peloton. La Kawasaki ne pointe que 14\u00e8me au premier passage. Mais Febvre est le plus rapide en piste et se lance dans une course-poursuite impressionnante pour revenir rapidement 10\u00e8me puis s’installer carr\u00e9ment en 4\u00e8me position d\u00e8s la mi-course derri\u00e8re le trio Prado\/Seewer\/Coldenhoff.<\/p>\n

Coldenhoff puis Seewer feront tour \u00e0 tour les frais de la d\u00e9termination et de la vitesse de pointe de Febvre qui s’installe donc quelques minutes plus tard en 2\u00e8me position derri\u00e8re Prado. Les positions n’\u00e9volueront plus mais Febvre s’assure ainsi d’un 4\u00e8me succ\u00e8s cons\u00e9cutif.<\/p>\n

Au championnat, Prado arrivera confortablement en t\u00eate sur le GP de Finlande le week-end prochain puisque 99 points le s\u00e9parent encore de Febvre, d\u00e9sormais isol\u00e9 \u00e0 la seconde place, Seewer comptant \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent pas moins de 60 points de retard en 3\u00e8me position.<\/p>\n
