Auteur d&rsquo;un nouveau doubl\u00e9 \u00e0 Ironman, le pilote Honda remporte donc les 22 manches du championnat et devient le 3\u00e8me pilote de l&rsquo;histoire du motocross US (soit 52 saisons disput\u00e9es \u00e0 ce jour) \u00e0 parvenir \u00e0 signer le Grand Chelem. Ses deux pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs s&rsquo;appellent Ricky Carmichael et James Stewart. Bless\u00e9 en d\u00e9but de saison, le champion SX450 en titre se contente pourtant d&rsquo;une quatri\u00e8me place au classement final de la cat\u00e9gorie reine, laissant Plessinger, 3\u00e8me \u00e0 Ironman et Dylan Ferrandis occuper les deux derni\u00e8res marches du podium final.<\/p>\n<p>Vice-champion, Dylan Ferrandis termine malheureusement la saison sur une grosse chute. Excellent 3\u00e8me de la premi\u00e8re manche apr\u00e8s une superbe remont\u00e9e vers les avant-postes, le Fran\u00e7ais est parti en t\u00eate de la seconde manche avant de chuter lourdement quelques instants plus tard. Son week-end s&rsquo;est arr\u00eat\u00e9 l\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>En 250cc, Jo Shimoda termine en beaut\u00e9 et offre \u00e0 Kawasaki son unique victoire de la saison outdoor.
