Ugo Moors vient \u00e0 peine d’avoir 19 ans mais a d\u00e9j\u00e0 derri\u00e8re lui une carri\u00e8re sportive bien remplie. Faite de hauts et de bas, comme pour tous les sportifs qui visent le plus haut niveau. Ce week-end, le Namurois s’appr\u00eate \u00e0 faire ses premiers tours de roues dans la cat\u00e9gorie du motocross mondial. Il sera en effet avec le team JK Racing Yamaha au d\u00e9part du GP de Maggiora, en Italie.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ces 12 derniers mois n’ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 faciles pour Ugo Moors. Notre jeune compatriote a accumul\u00e9 les coups durs. Plus que jamais, il tient pourtant \u00e0 son ambition de parvenir \u00e0 concr\u00e9tiser au plus haut niveau un talent qu’il fa\u00e7onne depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. L’hiver dernier, il a donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de se donner les moyens de ses ambitions. La d\u00e9cision fut donc prise de se consacrer deux ann\u00e9es durant \u00e0 la moto. Une fois son parcours secondaire termin\u00e9, Ugo est parti vivre chez l’ancien pilote de GP Luigi Seguy pour pr\u00e9parer son retour \u00e0 la comp\u00e9tition.<\/p>\n

L’heure est \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent venue. Et tant qu’\u00e0 faire, autant revenir par la grande porte. Ce week-end, il sera donc derri\u00e8re la grille de d\u00e9part du GP de Maggiora, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des gros bras du MX mondial. \u00ab\u00a0Je n’ai plus fait de course depuis un an\u00a0\u00bb, explique-t-il. \u00ab\u00a0Je sais \u00e9videmment que ce sera difficile. Mais je veux le faire car la comp\u00e9tition est le meilleur moyen de s’\u00e9valuer. Je n’ai pas d’autre ambition que de rouler, de voir comment cela se passe, d’\u00e9valuer ma vitesse, mes points forts et surtout mes points faibles. Cette course, qui devrait \u00eatre suivie par une participation au dernier GP de la saison \u00e0 Matterley Basin, doit avant tout me permettre de pr\u00e9parer la saison hivernale. Je veux que ces deux GP me permettent d’identifier ce sur quoi je dois travailler dans les mois qui viennent pour aborder 2024 dans les meilleures conditions qui soient.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’y roulerai avec une 450 YZ-F proche de la s\u00e9rie\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit Ugo. \u00ab\u00a0Mais ce n’est pas un probl\u00e8me \u00e0 ce stade. Je suis l\u00e0 pour apprendre et prendre de l’exp\u00e9rience en course avec la 450. Il s’agit d’une cylindr\u00e9e qui convient bien \u00e0 mon pilotage, bien mieux qu’une 250 qui demande moins de pr\u00e9cision mais davantage d’agressivit\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
