Devant plusieurs dizaines de milliers de spectateurs acquis \u00e0 sa cause, la France a remport\u00e9 ce dimanche le 76\u00e8me Motocross des Nations. Sur la piste d’Ern\u00e9e et malgr\u00e9 une concurrence pour le moins f\u00e9roce, Romain Febvre, Tom Vialle et Maxime Renaux n’ont pas laiss\u00e9 planer l’ombre d’un doute sur l’issue finale du week-end le plus attendu de la saison MX. Il s’agit du 7\u00e8me succ\u00e8s de la France au Motocross des Nations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

D\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re manche de la journ\u00e9e opposant pilotes MXGP et MX2, les tricolores mettaient la foule en \u00e9bullition. Pendant que Romain Febvre remportait son duel avec Jorge Prado pour la victoire, Tom Vialle pla\u00e7ait sa 250 SX-F au 8\u00e8me rang. Deux premiers r\u00e9sultats qui propulsaient d’embl\u00e9e la France en t\u00eate du classement internations.<\/p>\n

Les Fran\u00e7ais enfon\u00e7aient le clou dans la deuxi\u00e8me manche opposant MX2 et Open. Maxime Renaux prenait le leadership \u00e0 Ruben Fernandez \u00e0 la mi-course pour filer vers la victoire devant un excellent Tom Vialle. De quoi prendre une s\u00e9rieuse option sur la victoire finale.<\/p>\n

Seulement 6\u00e8me de la premi\u00e8re manche apr\u00e8s \u00eatre revenu du milieu du peloton, Jett Lawrence a cl\u00f4tur\u00e9 son week-end \u00e0 Ern\u00e9e en beaut\u00e9, \u00e9tant finalement le seul \u00e0 parvenir \u00e0 faire un peu d’ombre au tableau presque parfait de l’\u00e9quipe fran\u00e7aise. Le jeune Australien s’est battu pour la victoire avec Ken Roczen, l’Allemand finissant par s’incliner. Troisi\u00e8me devant Prado et Gajser, Maxime Renaux remplissait sa mission en offrant une large victoire \u00e0 la France devant l’Australie et l’Italie.<\/p>\n

Bien que Jago Geerts (9+14) ne soit pas parvenu \u00e0 r\u00e9\u00e9diter son exploit de l’an dernier au guidon de la 450 YZ-F et que Lucas Coenen (19+19) ait un peu manqu\u00e9 de r\u00e9ussite, Liam Everts (3+10) a pu tirer son \u00e9pingle du jeu en Open et les r\u00e9sultats d’ensemble des Belges dans une comp\u00e9tition particuli\u00e8rement ouverte leur offre de refermer le top-5 du classement final derri\u00e8re l’Allemagne, quatri\u00e8me, mais devant la Suisse, l’Espagne\u00a0 et les USA. Les tenants du titre retraversent donc l’Atlantique avec une 8\u00e8me place en poche seulement, seul Aaron Plessinger \u00e9tant parvenu \u00e0 accrocher un top-5 dans la premi\u00e8re manche de la journ\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Priv\u00e9e de Glenn Coldenhoff, bless\u00e9 hier lors des qualifs, la Hollande, que seule Kay De Wolf et Calvin Vlaanderen ont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e aujourd’hui, termine en bas de classement.<\/p>\n

L’an prochain, le 77\u00e8me Motocross des Nations sera disput\u00e9 en Grande-Bretagne, pour la 3\u00e8me fois sur le circuit de Matterley Basin.<\/p>\n
