Apr\u00e8s une tr\u00eave de plus d’un mois, le championnat de France des Sables reprenait ce week-end dans le cadre de la ronde des Sables d’Hossegor-Capbreton. Apr\u00e8s deux victoires cons\u00e9cutives \u00e0 Magescq puis \u00e0 Loon-Plage, Cyril Genot arrivait sur cette 4\u00e8me \u00e9preuve de la saison en leader du classement provisoire. Pour le pilote Honda, c’\u00e9tait aussi la premi\u00e8re occasion cette saison d’affronter \u00e0 la fois Milko Potisek et le nouveau champion du monde de la sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 Todd Kellett, les deux pilotes Yamaha \u00e9tant de retour de blessure.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Et notre compatriote n’a pas trembl\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s avoir laiss\u00e9 Yentel Martens dominer le d\u00e9but de course devant Milko Potisek, Genot se positionne comme le plus s\u00e9rieux concurrent de Potisek et Kellett. Un peu plus tard, Martens sera victime d’une lourde chute et devra renoncer \u00e0 ses ambitions de podium en se voyant contraint d’abandonner.<\/p>\n

Genot r\u00e9sistera au forcing final de Todd Kellett pour franchir pour la troisi\u00e8me fois cette saison le drapeau \u00e0 damiers en vainqueur, imposant sa Honda devant les deux Yam de Kellett et de Potisek, 3\u00e8me. Lars Van Berkel et Florian Miot compl\u00e8tent le top-5 \u00e0 un tour des 3 leaders. Seuls Jeremy Hauquier et Daymond Martens terminent encore dans le m\u00eame tour.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir manqu\u00e9 de peu le podium sur les deux derni\u00e8res \u00e9preuves, Matteo Puffet cl\u00f4ture cette fois le top-10 devant St\u00e9phane Watel.<\/p>\n

Cent vingt-deuxi\u00e8me du scratch, Amandine Verstappen remporte encore une fois le classement f\u00e9minin de l’\u00e9preuve.<\/p>\n

Rendez-vous d\u00e8s le week-end prochain \u00e0 Saint-L\u00e9ger-de-Balson pour le 5\u00e8me round de la saison qui sera aussi le dernier avant la pause de fin d’ann\u00e9e. Les 13 et 14 janvier, le CFS sera \u00e0 Grayan pour son avant-derni\u00e8re \u00e9preuve. La finale est quant \u00e0 elle pr\u00e9vue du 2 au 4 f\u00e9vrier sur la mythique plage du Touquet.<\/p>\n
