Suite au d\u00e9part surprise d’Antonio Cairoli chez Ducati, KTM devait trouver pour son team officiel de motocross un nouveau manager. Les Autrichiens ont finalement arr\u00eat\u00e9 leur choix sur Harry Norton. A 29 ans, l’Australien quitte donc son r\u00f4le de coordinateur technique pour devenir directeur de la prestigieuse \u00e9quipe dans laquelle on retrouvera en 2024 Jeffrey Herlings, Andrea Adamo ainsi que nos compatriotes Liam Everts et Sacha Coenen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Norton est arriv\u00e9 en Autriche en 2019 apr\u00e8s une longue collaboration avec KTM Australie dans son pays natal, o\u00f9 il a travaill\u00e9 chez un concessionnaire local, puis \u00e9galement sur le championnat national de motocross. Sa passion pour la comp\u00e9tition l’a amen\u00e9 en Europe, o\u00f9 il a notamment beaucoup particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l’ascension fulgurante du double champion du monde MX2 Tom Vialle.<\/p>\n

Norton a rapidement assum\u00e9 un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 au sein du team Red Bull KTM Factory Racing et a \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme le successeur naturel de Dirk Gruebel en 2023 en tant que coordinateur technique de l’\u00e9quipe. L’\u00e9quipe a \u00e9t\u00e9 profond\u00e9ment remani\u00e9e avec l’arriv\u00e9e de trois nouveaux pilotes et un remaniement complet du personnel technique. Norton a pu mener l’\u00e9quipe \u00e0 une quinzi\u00e8me couronne MX2 avec Adamo et a \u00e9galement aid\u00e9 Herlings \u00e0 atteindre un nouveau record de victoires avec 103 triomphes en GP.<\/p>\n

Harry prendra les r\u00eanes de l’\u00e9quipe KTM pour 2024, soutenu par Gruebel, la coordinatrice de l’\u00e9quipe Valentina Ragni, l’entra\u00eeneur de l’\u00e9quipe Joel Smets et d’autres figures telles que le nouveau coordinateur technique Stefan Simpson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
