C’\u00e9tait la reprise ce week-end pour les pilotes engag\u00e9s sur le championnat de France des Sables. C’est \u00e0 Grayan-et-l’H\u00f4pital, sur un nouveau trac\u00e9 qui \u00e9vite d\u00e9sormais la plage afin de pr\u00e9server les dunes, que la premi\u00e8re comp\u00e9tition de l’ann\u00e9e s’est disput\u00e9e. Avec en ligne de mire le grand rendez-vous du Touquet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En d\u00e9cembre, la premi\u00e8re partie de la saison s’\u00e9tait termin\u00e9e \u00e0 Saint-L\u00e9ger de Balson sur une victoire de Yentel Martens, la premi\u00e8re de notre compatriote sur le championnat de France des Sables. Mais aussi malheureusement sur une blessure au genou pour Cyril Genot. Le pilote Honda sortait alors d’une s\u00e9rie de 3 victoires cons\u00e9cutives. Quatri\u00e8me \u00e0 Saint-L\u00e9ger, il conservait n\u00e9anmoins le leadership du classement provisoire pour aborder la Gurp TT ce week-end \u00e0 Grayan.<\/p>\n

Si l’on s’interrogeait sur le niveau de forme que l’on pouvait attendre de Genot quelques semaines \u00e0 peine apr\u00e8s sa blessure, l’\u00e9preuve de ce dimanche n’a pas tard\u00e9 \u00e0 rassurer ses supporters. Il s’offre la seconde place \u00e0 1 minute et 34 secondes du vainqueur Todd Kellett, qui retrouve donc le chemin de la victoire apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00fb manquer le d\u00e9but de saison \u00e0 cause d’une blessure. A un tour, Milko Potisek compl\u00e8te le sixi\u00e8me et avant-dernier podium de la saison.<\/p>\n

Lars Van Berkel et Math\u00e9o Miot compl\u00e8tent le top-5 alors que Daymond Martens termine 8\u00e8me et Matt\u00e9o Puffet 11\u00e8me. Yentel Martens se contente aujourd’hui du 20\u00e8me rang sur la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Chez les f\u00e9minines, Amandine Verstappen termine \u00e0 la 107\u00e8me place du scratch, seconde du classement de sa cat\u00e9gorie \u00e0 une minute de la gagnante du jour Mathilde Martinez.<\/p>\n

Tous les regards sont d\u00e9sormais tourn\u00e9s vers la prestigieuse finale du championnat, le premier week-end de f\u00e9vrier, sur la plage du Touquet.<\/p>\n
