Le niveau \u00e9tait l\u00e0, comme le d\u00e9montraient ses trois arriv\u00e9es dans le top-5 (2017, 2022, 2023), mais diff\u00e9rentes p\u00e9rip\u00e9ties l&rsquo;avaient emp\u00each\u00e9 d&rsquo;obtenir le r\u00e9sultat tant convoit\u00e9. Le n\u00b01 fran\u00e7ais du rallye-raid a finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9compens\u00e9 de ses efforts \u00e0 Yanbu, au bout d&rsquo;une route longue de pr\u00e8s de 8 000 kilom\u00e8tres. Solide du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin sur cette \u00e9dition 2024, il est rentr\u00e9 en Europe avec le troph\u00e9e de troisi\u00e8me du classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral dans ses valises.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Ce fut une course tr\u00e8s difficile o\u00f9 il a fallu garder son sang-froid, attaquer mais aussi bien g\u00e9rer, d\u00e9crivait VAN BEVEREN, \u00e9mu aux larmes \u00e0 l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e. J\u2019ai pouss\u00e9 jusqu\u2019au dernier m\u00e8tre, j\u2019ai tout donn\u00e9 \u00e0 chaque instant et je n\u2019ai aucun regret. Je profite de ce moment car il vient r\u00e9compenser des ann\u00e9es de travail, de risques. Je m\u2019entra\u00eene et j\u2019essaie d\u2019\u00eatre meilleur chaque jour. Il s\u2019est impos\u00e9 dans le sable de l\u2019Empty Quarter, mais \u00e9galement sur des pistes plus rocailleuses. Une r\u00e9ussite qui veut dire beaucoup. \u00ab J\u2019ai montr\u00e9 que je suis capable de gagner sur tous les types de terrains, m\u00eame dans les cailloux. Je suis fier de mon travail et de celui fait avec Honda. La nouvelle moto, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e ensemble ces derniers mois, me donne beaucoup de confiance \u00bb, remercie-t-il.<\/p>\n<p>Jusqu\u2019au bout, le Fran\u00e7ais a mis la pression aux adversaires face \u00e0 qui il se battait pour la premi\u00e8re position. Fid\u00e8le \u00e0 son \u00e9tat d&rsquo;esprit, il se satisfait de sa performance tout en travaillant d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur les pistes d&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration. \u00ab Le premier objectif est toujours de rallier l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e, mais ce podium est un pas de plus vers mon grand r\u00eave.
