Jeffrey Herlings a remport\u00e9 ce dimanche le 9\u00e8me GP de la saison mondiale MXGP. Dans le sable du GP de Lettonie, sur une piste de Kegums au lay-out revu pour l’occasion, le N\u00e9erlandais s’est impos\u00e9 devant les deux hommes forts du championnat Tim Gajser et Jorge Prado.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Souvent en embuscade derri\u00e8re les deux leaders du championnat Tim Gajser et Jorge Prado, Jeffrey Herlings attendait son heure. L’officiel KTM, quintuple champion du monde, esp\u00e9rait t\u00f4t ou tard renouer avec le succ\u00e8s, comme il l’avait d’ailleurs rappel\u00e9 au soir du GP d’Allemagne le week-end dernier. Et c’est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ce qu’il a fait ce dimanche en remportant la premi\u00e8re manche du GP de Kegums avant de prendre une 3\u00e8me place dans la seconde, ce qui lui a suffi pour monter sur le plus haute marche du podium devant Gajser (2+2) et Prado (7+1).<\/p>\n

En l’absence de Romain Febvre, bless\u00e9 en France, Herlings consolide \u00e9videmment sa 3\u00e8me place d’un classement provisoire qui change \u00e0 nouveau de leader puisque Tim Gajser reprend 6 points sur le week-end \u00e0 Jorge Prado et reprend ainsi la plaque rouge avec 4 points d’avance sur son rival espagnol.<\/p>\n

Le week-end prochain, le championnat MXGP atteindra la mi-saison avec le 10\u00e8me rendez-vous pr\u00e9vu sur la superbe piste italienne de Maggiora.<\/p>\n
