Tenant du titre et annonc\u00e9 comme le grand favori de l’\u00e9dition 2024 des 12 Heures de la Chinelle, Antoine Magain doit finalement renoncer \u00e0 participer \u00e0 la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre \u00e9preuve d’endurance, dont il avait pourtant fait une des priorit\u00e9s de sa saison sportive.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bless\u00e9 \u00e0 la main en heurtant un piquet dans une sp\u00e9ciale de l’enduro de Chimay le 7 juillet dernier (lire notre article<\/a>), le pilote Sherco soigne depuis lors une fracture qui a encore besoin de temps pour gu\u00e9rir et permettre \u00e0 l’officiel Sherco de retrouver 100% de sa forme.<\/p>\n

L’\u00e9t\u00e9 dernier, Antoine Magain avait remport\u00e9 la Chinelle au guidon d’une Sherco officielle.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’ai vraiment esp\u00e9r\u00e9 jusqu’au bout \u00eatre en mesure de rouler \u00e0 la Chinelle\u00a0\u00bb, explique Magain, \u00ab\u00a0car j’aime l’\u00e9preuve et je pense que j’avais cette ann\u00e9e encore toutes les cartes en main pour m’imposer. H\u00e9las, on a d\u00fb prendre la d\u00e9cision de ne pas participer cette ann\u00e9e car j’aurais d\u00fb rouler avec les broches dans ma main op\u00e9r\u00e9e il y a deux semaines. Cela aurait repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un risque important.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Antoine manquera donc le GP du Pays de Galles pr\u00e9vu du 2 au 4 ao\u00fbt ainsi que les 12 Heures de la Chinelle le week-end suivant. \u00ab\u00a0C’est une mauvaise nouvelle mais nous prenons cette d\u00e9cision pour nous concentrer sur la fin de saison, avec la finale de l’EnduroGP en France, les 6 Jours ou encore le championnat d’Espagne\u00a0\u00bb, commente le pilote Sherco. \u00ab\u00a0Je vois mon chirurgien le 2 ao\u00fbt. J’en saurai plus \u00e0 ce moment. L\u00e0, j’ai toujours deux broches dans le doigt mais j’ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s bien r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 et je bouge bien.
