Les Australiens sont des habitu\u00e9s du Motocross des Nations. Ils y participaient d’ailleurs ce week-end \u00e0 Matterley Basin pour la 37\u00e8me fois. Tir\u00e9s par les fr\u00e8res Jett et Hunter Lawrence, ils se sont impos\u00e9s pour la premi\u00e8re fois. Les Australiens repartent donc de Grande-Bretagne avec le Troph\u00e9e Chamberlain.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jett Lawrence s’est inclin\u00e9 in extremis dans l’ultime manche du week-end face au vice-champion du monde MXGP Tim Gajser. Pas de quoi entamer cependant le moral du jeune Australien. Avec son fr\u00e8re Hunter et\u00a0 Kyle Webster, cette seconde place lui permettait en effet d’offrir \u00e0 l’\u00e9quipe australienne sa premi\u00e8re victoire sur le Motocross des Nations.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Le trio australien devance les Am\u00e9ricains et les Hollandais. L’Espagne termine 4\u00e8me devant la France, qui n’est donc pas parvenue \u00e0 conserver son titre apr\u00e8s un week-end compliqu\u00e9 et la chute notamment de Romain Febvre en 3\u00e8me manche.<\/p>\n

Pour les Belges, la chute de Lucas Coenen (lire notre article<\/a>) d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re manche et sa blessure \u00e0 l’\u00e9paule l’emp\u00eachant de prendre le d\u00e9part de la seconde course ont mis rapidement fin aux espoirs des supporters. Les prestations de Jago Geerts et de Brent Van Doninck ne permettent pas de revendiquer davantage qu’une maigre 16\u00e8me place finale.<\/p>\n
