C’\u00e9tait la rentr\u00e9e ce week-end pour le Championnat de France des Sables ! Sur la c\u00f4te d’Opale, le Beach-Cross de Berck-sur-Mer a ouvert la saison. C’est le Britannique Todd Kellett qui s’est impos\u00e9 devant notre compatriote Cyril Genot et le Fran\u00e7ais Florian Miot.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La premi\u00e8re \u00e9preuve du championnat de France des Sables a permis \u00e0 Todd Kellett de reprendre sans tarder ses bonnes habitudes. En l’absence de Milko Potisek, vainqueur des 2 derni\u00e8res \u00e9ditions du Beach-Cross mais bless\u00e9 la semaine pass\u00e9e \u00e0 l’entra\u00eenement, le Britannique a d’embl\u00e9e pris les r\u00eanes du championnat.<\/p>\n

Todd Kellett<\/p><\/div>\n

Plus t\u00f4t dans la journ\u00e9e, Kellett avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 remport\u00e9 la course dans le groupe A, alors que Genot et Miot \u00e9taient \u00e9galement deux et trois. Dans le groupe B, la victoire est revenue \u00e0 Lars van Berkel. Camille Chapeli\u00e8re a termin\u00e9 deuxi\u00e8me devant Alexis Colignon. Dans les deux groupes, les 85 pilotes les plus rapides \u00e9taient s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s \u00e0 chaque fois pour disputer la finale Or de cette \u00e9preuve au format comme toujours tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent des autres courses du championnat.<\/p>\n

C’est uniquement \u00e0 l’issue de cette finale Or que les points ont \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9s. Cette s\u00e9rie de 30 minutes a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 remport\u00e9e par Todd Kellett. Celui-ci est suivi par Cyril Genot, Florian Miot et Lars van Berkel. Tias Callens termine \u00e0 une belle 11\u00e8me place. Arnaud Tonus est 12\u00e8me et Daymond Martens 13\u00e8me. Junior Bal a termin\u00e9 pour sa part au quinzi\u00e8me rang.<\/p>\n

Yentel Martens, Amandine Verstappen et Dean America n’ont pas atteint la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Chez les Quads, notre compatriote Randy Naveaux s’est impos\u00e9. Comme l’ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, il a r\u00e9gn\u00e9 en ma\u00eetre dans cette cat\u00e9gorie et a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 remporter les deux manches. Kelly Verbraeken s’est impos\u00e9e chez les dames.<\/p>\n
