Laurent Brevers a officialis\u00e9 ce vendredi son d\u00e9part du Comit\u00e9 directeur de l’AMPL. Membre du comit\u00e9 sportif depuis 2019, le pilote d’Aywaille avait rejoint l’organe ex\u00e9cutif de la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration l’hiver dernier. Il a aujourd’hui d’autres projets.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Laurent Brevers, c’est \u00e9videmment une carri\u00e8re sportive exceptionnelle mais aussi une implication dans de nombreuses activit\u00e9s relatives au motocross. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, c’est aupr\u00e8s de l’AMPL qu’il s’est investi. D’abord en tant que directeur de course depuis la saison 2019 avant de rejoindre le Comit\u00e9 directeur de la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration juste avant la saison 2024.<\/p>\n

Vendredi dernier, il a annonc\u00e9 aux clubs r\u00e9unis \u00e0 Cherain pour l’Assembl\u00e9e G\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l’AMPL qu’il avait pris la d\u00e9cision de remettre sa d\u00e9mission et de ne pas poursuivre le mandat de 3 ann\u00e9es qui lui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9 l’hiver dernier. Il laisse Laurent Lacasse, Serge Mazzoni et Olivier Evrard seuls dans le Comit\u00e9 directeur. En AG, Laurent Lacasse n’a pas manqu\u00e9 d’exprimer le souhait de voir au minimum un nouveau membre rejoindre le Comit\u00e9 pour permettre \u00e0 l’AMPL de continuer \u00e0 fonctionner sereinement. Un appel \u00e0 candidatures a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 par le Pr\u00e9sident.<\/p>\n

Quant \u00e0 Laurent Brevers, il a saison l’occasion pour remercier la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration et les clubs pour la collaboration men\u00e9e ensemble au cours des derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons fait du bon travail ensemble pour aider la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration et nos organisations \u00e0 \u00e9voluer dans le bon sens. Merci \u00e0 tous pour cela. Ce travail doit continuer\u00a0\u00bb. Mais ce sera donc sans lui. L’homme a en effet d’autres projets qui ne lui laisseront plus le temps de se consacrer \u00e0 l’AMPL.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’ai mis sur pied une \u00e9cole de pilotage pour les jeunes et les moins jeunes\u00a0\u00bb, nous explique-t-il. \u00ab\u00a0L’asbl LB Academy aura pour vocation de former les pilotes tout en proposant des machines \u00e0 la location. Le concessionnaire Gepa Kawasaki sera partenaire de l’\u00e9cole. Son g\u00e9rant, Patrick Gelade m’a par ailleurs demand\u00e9 de repr\u00e9senter Gepa Motos et Kawasaki sur les \u00e9preuves AMPL.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Rassurez-vous donc, s’il laisse de c\u00f4t\u00e9 son r\u00f4le au sein de la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration, Laurent Brevers sera toujours bien pr\u00e9sent sur les circuits de l’AMPL. \u00ab\u00a0En effet, je serai toujours bien actif sur les week-ends de course\u00a0\u00bb, affirme-t-il. \u00ab\u00a0Je serai l\u00e0 au service des pilotes Kawasaki de la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration mais aussi en tant que pilote puisque je continuerai \u00e0 disputer les \u00e9preuves chez les Experts.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
