Stefan Pierer ajoutait ainsi la prestigieuse marque italienne \u00e0 son empire industriel, comme il l&rsquo;avait fait pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment avec Husqvarna et GasGas. D\u00e9sormais entr\u00e9 dans une crise sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, le groupe autrichien doit se serrer la ceinture. Les sacrifices ne font sans doute que commencer et il semble que MV Agusta sera le premier \u00e0 en faire les frais.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un accord de distribution aux USA, puis pour le monde entier, un investissement d&rsquo;une trentaine de millions d&rsquo;Euros pour entrer au capital de la marque, soutien logistique et marketing&#8230; le rapprochement entre KTM et MV Agusta s&rsquo;est op\u00e9r\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on progressive jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que Stefan Pierer ne d\u00e9cide de prendre le contr\u00f4le de la marque au printemps dernier. Le groupe KTM \u00e9tait alors mont\u00e9 dans le capital du constructeur italien \u00e0 concurrence de 50,1%, devenant donc majoritaire face \u00e0 l&rsquo;ancien propri\u00e9taire, la famille russe Sardarov. Timur Saradov, le CEO, avait alors laiss\u00e9 sa place \u00e0 Hubert Trunkenpolz, un des fid\u00e8les lieutenants de Pierer.<\/p>\n<p>Dix mois plus tard, les ambitions ont bien chang\u00e9 \u00e0 Mattighofen. En proie \u00e0 une crise financi\u00e8re qui d\u00e9passe tout ce que l&rsquo;on aurait pu imaginer, le groupe autrichien lutte actuellement pour sa survie. Ni plus ni moins. L&rsquo;heure n&rsquo;est plus aux objectifs de croissance mais aux plans d&rsquo;amaigrissement. Le groupe KTM doit r\u00e9duire la voilure s&rsquo;il veut se maintenir la t\u00eate hors de l&rsquo;eau. Alors, comme toujours en pareilles circonstances, on commence par se s\u00e9parer des actifs qui ne seront vraisemblablement pas \u00e0 m\u00eame de soutenir le plan de sauvetage, ceux qui n&rsquo;ont pas de r\u00e9elle valeur strat\u00e9gique pour l&rsquo;entreprise. MV Agusta fait partie de ceux-l\u00e0. Les Autrichiens ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de stopper leurs investissements dans la marque.<\/p>\n<p>Une d\u00e9cision pour le moins inattendue qui plonge l&rsquo;entreprise italienne dans l&rsquo;inconnue. Tout d&rsquo;un coup, MV Agusta, sa direction et ses employ\u00e9s, se retrouvent seuls face \u00e0 leur destin, oblig\u00e9s de reprendre rapidement la gestion de leurs op\u00e9rations sans le support que leur offrait un groupe aussi puissant que KTM.<\/p>\n<p>La production des MV Agusta devrait d&rsquo;ici le printemps 2025 avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement transf\u00e9r\u00e9e vers l&rsquo;usine historique de Var\u00e8se. Deux mille machines sont actuellement en stock. La marque va faire en sorte d&rsquo;\u00e9couler un maximum de ces deux mille motos avant de relancer la production d&rsquo;une petite s\u00e9rie de machines (on parle de 3000 motos) en tentant de coller au plus pr\u00e8s possible \u00e0 la demande. L&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2025 sera une ann\u00e9e charni\u00e8re pour la marque italienne qui devrait selon toute logique retomber sous le contr\u00f4le de son actionnaire russe.
