La crise que traverse actuellement KTM a des r\u00e9percussions \u00e0 tous les niveaux du sport motocycliste. Le promoteur du championnat du monde FIM de Hard Enduro, WESS Promotion GmbH, tire la sonnette d’alarme. L’entreprise autrichienne a annonc\u00e9 qu’elle ne voyait pas d’autre solution que de se mettre en liquidation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

KTM AG traverse actuellement la plus grave crise de son histoire. Ce malaise touche de nombreuses entreprises qui travaillent en \u00e9troite collaboration avec le fabricant de Mattighofen. C’est le cas de WESS Promotion GmbH. \u00c0 l’origine, cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e par l’ancien directeur sportif de KTM Winfried Kerschhaggl a vu le jour pour orienter le WESS (World Enduro Super Series) dans la bonne direction.<\/p>\n

Ce championnat d’enduro alternatif a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en place en 2018. Il s’agissait d’une r\u00e9ponse de KTM et Red Bull \u00e0 ce qu’ils consid\u00e9raient comme de mauvaises pratiques dans le championnat du monde d’enduro. Le WESS r\u00e9unissait dans un m\u00eame calendrier le hard enduro, l’enduro classique, les courses de plage et le cross country.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

S\u00e9duisante sur le papier, la formule WESS n’a cependant pas \u00e9t\u00e9 un grand succ\u00e8s. De plus, les diff\u00e9rents formats et le d\u00e9compte des points particulier ont caus\u00e9 beaucoup de confusion. En 2021, le WESS a donc fusionn\u00e9 avec l’actuel championnat du monde FIM de Hard Enduro, tout en conservant le r\u00f4le de promoteur de WESS Promotion GmbH. Cette ann\u00e9e, Red Bull avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 fortement r\u00e9duit son soutien au championnat. L’abandon de KTM dans son soutien au championnat a donc sonn\u00e9 le glas pour le promoteur, \u00e0 court de moyens financiers.<\/p>\n

Dans un message adress\u00e9 aux pilotes du championnat du monde de Hard Enduro, WESS Promotion ne m\u00e2che pas ses mots : \u00ab Comme vous pouvez l’imaginer, la r\u00e9cente d\u00e9cision de KTM de retirer son soutien au championnat du monde de Hard Enduro a eu un impact majeur sur notre organisation et sur le championnat dans son ensemble.<\/p>\n

Les circonstances qui en ont r\u00e9sult\u00e9 ont contraint WESS Promotion GmbH \u00e0 se mettre en liquidation. Cependant, nous tenons \u00e0 vous assurer que cela ne signifie pas la fin du championnat du monde de Hard Enduro. L’\u00e9quipe actuelle, dirig\u00e9e par Winfried Kerschhaggl et Ricardo Mitterer, est pleinement engag\u00e9e dans la poursuite de la s\u00e9rie et travaille activement \u00e0 l’organisation de la promotion du championnat pour la saison prochaine dans un cadre diff\u00e9rent.<\/p>\n

Ces derni\u00e8res semaines, nous avons eu des discussions constructives \u00e0 ce sujet avec les organisateurs de manifestations et la FIM. Ces discussions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s positives et, dans l’\u00e9tat actuel des choses, la saison 2025 devrait pouvoir se d\u00e9rouler comme pr\u00e9vu. Si des changements sont n\u00e9cessaires, ils concerneront principalement les courses outre-mer.<\/p>\n

Nous donnerons plus de d\u00e9tails et d’\u00e9ventuelles modifications du calendrier en janvier. D’ici l\u00e0, nous travaillons avec toute notre \u00e9nergie et notre d\u00e9vouement \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation de la saison 2025 et \u00e0 la poursuite du championnat du monde de hard enduro. Nous vous remercions de votre compr\u00e9hension et de votre soutien pendant cette p\u00e9riode difficile. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Avec des courses comme Erzberg, Romaniacs, Red Bull Outliers, Hispanix, Abetone, Getzenrodeo etc… la sc\u00e8ne hard enduro a entre-temps suffisamment de classiques pour construire un calendrier solide. La question de savoir sous quelle forme – une Coupe du monde ou un championnat s\u00e9par\u00e9 – se pose. Quoi qu’il en soit, il est certain que le soutien \u00e0 un championnat \u00e9largi n’a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s fort.<\/p>\n

Par exemple, la majorit\u00e9 des meilleurs pilotes de la s\u00e9rie \u00e9taient au service de l’Autriche et soutenus par Red Bull. Ce dernier point a horripil\u00e9 Rockstar Energy, qui a d\u00fb voir ses pilotes de pointe Husqvarna trait\u00e9s au second plan. En dehors d’une poign\u00e9e de pilotes d’usine, KTM, Husqvarna ou GasGas, compl\u00e9t\u00e9s par quelques pilotes Sherco, peu de pilotes ont d’ailleurs particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l’int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 du championnat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
