Cette \u00e9tape, exigeante et technique, a offert une immersion totale dans le d\u00e9sert mauritanien, m\u00ealant dunes de sable mou, pistes rocailleuses et passages de navigation d\u00e9licats. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Notons qu&rsquo;un invit\u00e9 de prestige a marqu\u00e9 cette journ\u00e9e : St\u00e9phane Peterhansel, \u00ab Monsieur Dakar \u00bb. De retour sur les terres africaines o\u00f9 il a construit sa l\u00e9gende, il a rejoint le bivouac pour participer en cat\u00e9gorie Raid (hors classement) au guidon d\u2019une Yamaha T\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 700 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Dakar. Entre \u00e9changes avec les participants et conseils avis\u00e9s, il a su inspirer les pilotes pr\u00e9sents.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Italien Francesco Montanari (Aprilia) s\u2019est illustr\u00e9 en remportant sa premi\u00e8re victoire d\u2019\u00e9tape en 4h14, devan\u00e7ant le Norv\u00e9gien P\u00e5l Anders Ullev\u00e5lseter (KTM) de 2 minutes et 55 secondes. Ce dernier r\u00e9alise une impressionnante remont\u00e9e apr\u00e8s \u00eatre parti en 36? position ce matin. Guillaume Borne (Husqvarna) compl\u00e8te le podium \u00e0 11 minutes et 51 secondes du vainqueur. Soulag\u00e9 de ses douleurs dorsales gr\u00e2ce aux soins prodigu\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00e9quipe m\u00e9dicale, Guillaume a prouv\u00e9 qu\u2019en pleine forme, il peut pr\u00e9tendre au podium.<\/p>\n<p>Les leaders du g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, Alessandro Botturi (Yamaha) et Jacopo Cerutti (Aprilia), terminent 10? et 13?, conc\u00e9dant chacun pr\u00e8s de 30 minutes. Une strat\u00e9gie possible pour ne pas ouvrir la piste demain, o\u00f9 une navigation complexe attend les concurrents. Cerutti, en pleine forme apr\u00e8s une journ\u00e9e de fi\u00e8vre hier, se montre confiant.<\/p>\n<p>Au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, Botturi conserve la t\u00eate avec 9 minutes et 49 secondes d\u2019avance sur Cerutti. Montanari grimpe \u00e0 la 3? place, \u00e0 1h46 du leader, suivi de Guillaume Borne \u00e0 1h55.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f4t\u00e9 belge, Mathieu Liebaert et Nicolas Charlier r\u00e9alisent un tir group\u00e9 aux 8 et 9\u00e8mes places alors qu&rsquo;au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, Charlier est toujours le meilleur Belge en 7\u00e8me position.
