Le nouveau king du Touquet, c’est lui : Todd Kellett a livr\u00e9 ce dimanche une v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9monstration sur la C\u00f4te d’Opale. En s’imposant sur l’Enduropale du Touquet aujourd’hui, le Britannique rejoint Adrien Van Beveren et Milko Potisek parmi les triples vainqueurs de la mythique \u00e9preuve.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’\u00e9preuve a bien commenc\u00e9 pour les supporters belges mass\u00e9s sur la plage du Touquet pour assister \u00e0 ce qui \u00e9tait le 50\u00e8me Enduropale. puisque les 3 heures de course se sont ouvertes sur le holeshot magistral de Daymond Martens. Notre compatriote a vir\u00e9 en t\u00eate au bout de la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre plage pour prendre d’embl\u00e9e les commandes de la course.<\/p>\n

Un leadership cependant tr\u00e8s \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re pour notre compatriote puisque tr\u00e8s vite, Todd Kellett prend la t\u00eate de la course devant Math\u00e9o Miot qui s’installe donc en deuxi\u00e8me position. Martens suit au 3\u00e8me rang devant Potisek, Hauquier, Puffet alors que Wagener est bien parti et pointe en 8\u00e8me position. Genot a pris un d\u00e9part moyen et occupe le 12\u00e8me rang apr\u00e8s quelques minutes de course, juste devant ses co\u00e9quipiers Lars Van Berkel et Jeremy Van Horebeek.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s une heure de course, les 3 favoris sont aux 3 premi\u00e8res places. Todd Kellett est toujours devant tandis que ce sont d\u00e9sormais Milko Potisek, de retour sur l’Enduropale apr\u00e8s une s\u00e9rie de blessures, et Cyril Genot qui m\u00e8nent la chasse. Mais rien ni personne ne semble pouvoir arr\u00eater Kellett. Le pilote Yamaha ma\u00eetrise la course de la t\u00eate et des \u00e9paules et sait en entrant dans les derni\u00e8res 30 minutes de course qu’il a son destin entre ses mains. Plus personne ne pourra le rejoindre \u00e0 la r\u00e9guli\u00e8re et, sauf casse m\u00e9canique ou grosse chute, l’Anglais et son \u00e9quipe savent que cette 3\u00e8me victoire sur le Touquet est pratiquement dans la poche.<\/p>\n

A quelques minutes du temps r\u00e8glementaire, son avance sur ses poursuivants est telle qu’il peut se permettre de prendre le temps de repasser par les stands afin d’\u00e9viter d’avoir \u00e0 repartir pour un tour suppl\u00e9mentaire.<\/p>\n

Troisi\u00e8me jusque dans les derniers instants de course, Cyril Genot dispara\u00eet soudainement des classements, laissant la 3\u00e8me marche du podium aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Kellett et Potisek \u00e0 son co\u00e9quiper hollandais Lars Van Berkel.<\/p>\n

Au pied du podium, Daymond Martens signe une solide course et prend donc la 4\u00e8me place apr\u00e8s avoir sign\u00e9 le holeshot. Mat\u00e9ho Miot Compl\u00e8te le top-5 devant un excellent Adrien Petit. Tir group\u00e9 des Belges aux 11, 12 et 1<\/p>\n

Chez les Dames, c’est Amandine Verstappen qui s’impose une nouvelle fois avec une belle 97\u00e8me place au classement scratch.<\/p>\n
