Victorieuse par deux fois le week-end dernier dans le sable de Riola Sardo sur le premier round du mondial f\u00e9minin de motocross alors qu’elle venait de lutter contre un virus qui lui a fait perdre plusieurs kilos, Lotte Van Drunen se lance un nouveau d\u00e9fi ce week-end : la championne du monde en titre roulera \u00e0 Trentino face aux gar\u00e7ons du MX2 !<\/p>\n

\u00ab J\u2019ai perdu trois kilos pendant la semaine \u00bb, a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 van Drunen lors d\u2019une interview apr\u00e8s la course, les yeux encore marqu\u00e9s par le m\u00e9lange d\u2019\u00e9puisement et de joie qui a marqu\u00e9 son week-end. \u00ab Il y a eu des moments o\u00f9 je n\u2019\u00e9tais m\u00eame pas s\u00fbre de pouvoir rouler. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Mais ces doutes ne se sont pas mat\u00e9rialis\u00e9s sur la piste, o\u00f9 la pilote De Baets Yamaha Supported MX a attaqu\u00e9 le sable redout\u00e9 de Sardaigne au guidon de sa YZ250F avec son agressivit\u00e9 habituelle, creusant l\u2019\u00e9cart dans les deux manches pour s\u2019imposer confortablement.<\/p>\n

Cette victoire en Sardaigne, aussi impressionnante soit-elle, est d\u00e9j\u00e0 rel\u00e9gu\u00e9e au second plan puisque van Drunen a confirm\u00e9 sa participation face aux hommes ce week-end lors du Grand Prix MX2 de Trentino \u00e0 Pietramurata, en Italie.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Je dois m\u2019entra\u00eener sur sol dur \u00bb, a-t-elle admis. \u00ab Et courir sur une piste GP difficile avec des mont\u00e9es et des descentes est le meilleur entra\u00eenement possible, c\u2019est pourquoi j\u2019ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de participer au MX2 \u00e0 Trente. J\u2019aime courir contre les gar\u00e7ons en MX2, et j\u2019adore Arco \u2013 j\u2019y ai de bons souvenirs. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Ce ne sera pas la premi\u00e8re apparition de van Drunen en MX2 \u2013 elle avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 marqu\u00e9 des points lors du MXGP de Lommel, en Belgique, la saison derni\u00e8re \u2013 mais Trentino repr\u00e9sente son premier Grand Prix sur un sol dur face aux hommes.<\/p>\n

Interrog\u00e9e sur ses attentes, van Drunen balaie toute pression. \u00ab Je n\u2019attends rien. La course de qualification dure autant que celle en WMX, donc j\u2019esp\u00e8re pouvoir faire 20 minutes plus deux tours en soignant mon pilotage. Le dimanche est vraiment ax\u00e9 sur l\u2019entra\u00eenement physique et l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de ma technique et de mes comp\u00e9tences quand la piste devient tr\u00e8s difficile, pleine d\u2019orni\u00e8res et de bosses. \u00bb<\/p>\n

Quant \u00e0 savoir si Trente marque le d\u00e9but d\u2019une campagne plus large en MX2 ? \u00ab Je pense que je participerai \u00e0 nouveau \u00e0 Lommel, c\u2019est certain \u00bb, a-t-elle confirm\u00e9. \u00ab On verra bien, comme je l\u2019ai dit, j\u2019aime vraiment \u00e7a et c\u2019est bon pour moi.
