En l&rsquo;absence de Pauls Jonass, bless\u00e9, le Fran\u00e7ais \u00e9tait le seul \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre les couleurs de Kawasaki, ce qu\u2019il a fait brillamment. Il a ainsi d\u00e9croch\u00e9 sa premi\u00e8re pole position de la saison, devant Tim Gajser.<\/p>\n<p>En MXGP, les favoris ne se sont pas laiss\u00e9s surprendre, \u00e0 l\u2019exception de Nicholas Lapucci qui a pris un excellent d\u00e9part devant Romain Febvre, Isak Gifting et le duo Honda compos\u00e9 de Tim Gajser et Rub\u00e9n Fernandez. Lucas Coenen, quant \u00e0 lui, est tomb\u00e9 d\u00e8s la sortie de grille, se retrouvant bon dernier.<\/p>\n<p>Les pilotes Ducati \u00e9taient aussi bien plac\u00e9s avec Toni Cairoli et Jeremy Seewer. Febvre a rapidement d\u00e9pass\u00e9 Lapucci pour prendre la t\u00eate de la course. Gajser et Gifting ont tent\u00e9 de faire de m\u00eame mais ont rencontr\u00e9 des difficult\u00e9s : Gifting est m\u00eame parti \u00e0 la faute en chutant lourdement. Et tout cela d\u00e8s le premier tour. Gajser, lui, est rest\u00e9 sur ses roues et a fini par d\u00e9passer le pilote qui avait pris le meilleur d\u00e9part. Au deuxi\u00e8me tour, Cairoli a d\u00fb abandonner \u00e0 cause d\u2019une roue arri\u00e8re endommag\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Febvre et Gajser se sont ensuite d\u00e9tach\u00e9s, tandis qu\u2019une superbe bagarre se d\u00e9roulait derri\u00e8re eux, avec un Seewer retrouv\u00e9, un Lapucci combatif, puis Maxime Renaux, Glenn Coldenhoff et Fernandez \u00e0 leurs trousses. L\u2019Espagnol Fernandez s\u2019est montr\u00e9 le plus incisif et s\u2019est empar\u00e9 de la troisi\u00e8me place. Lapucci a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 faiblir, ce dont a profit\u00e9 notamment Calvin Vlaanderen, qui a \u00e9galement d\u00e9pass\u00e9 Coldenhoff.<\/p>\n<p>Parti tr\u00e8s loin apr\u00e8s sa chute, Lucas Coenen n\u2019a pourtant jamais renonc\u00e9 \u00e0 marquer des points. \u00c0 l\u2019approche de la fin du temps r\u00e9glementaire, il occupait la onzi\u00e8me place, qu\u2019il a conserv\u00e9e jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e, juste devant Jago Geerts. Devant, Gajser a sembl\u00e9 se r\u00e9signer \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me place, laissant Febvre s\u2019\u00e9chapper pour filer vers la victoire. Derri\u00e8re ce duo, un \u00e9cart s\u2019est creus\u00e9 avec Fernandez, Seewer, Renaux, Vlaanderen et Coldenhoff. Avec un petit point repris \u00e0 Gajser, Febvre ne grappille pas grand-chose dans la course au championnat.
