Le clan Kawasaki peut savourer : Romain Febvre a remport\u00e9 \u00e0 Lugo (Espagne) son deuxi\u00e8me Grand Prix de la saison, lors de la 8e manche du championnat du monde MXGP. Une victoire importante qui lui permet d\u2019\u00e9largir son avance au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, d\u00e9sormais port\u00e9e \u00e0 49 points.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s une matin\u00e9e marqu\u00e9e par la pluie, c\u2019est sous un ciel enfin d\u00e9gag\u00e9 que le pilote fran\u00e7ais s\u2019est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 au d\u00e9part de la premi\u00e8re manche. D\u00e9j\u00e0 auteur du meilleur temps lors du Warm-up, Febvre a confirm\u00e9 sa forme en signant un holeshot autoritaire. Impeccable de ma\u00eetrise sur une piste rendue pi\u00e9geuse par la boue, l’homme \u00e0 la Kawasaki frapp\u00e9e du num\u00e9ro 3 a dict\u00e9 le rythme de bout en bout avec son style fluide et pr\u00e9cis, pour s\u2019imposer avec plus de dix secondes d\u2019avance.<\/p>\n

La deuxi\u00e8me manche avait bien commenc\u00e9 avec un nouveau holeshot, synonyme d\u2019un doubl\u00e9 en vue. Mais dans la descente apr\u00e8s un gros table-top, un orni\u00e8re tra\u00eetresse a pi\u00e9g\u00e9 l\u2019avant de sa Kawasaki, envoyant Febvre au sol. Reparti en septi\u00e8me position, le Fran\u00e7ais a entam\u00e9 une remont\u00e9e spectaculaire, encha\u00eenant les d\u00e9passements incisifs pour revenir jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me place. Ce finish impressionnant lui a suffi pour d\u00e9crocher la victoire au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du jour.<\/p>\n

\u00ab C\u2019est toujours plus facile quand tu prends le holeshot, et je l\u2019ai fait dans les deux manches\u00a0\u00bb, commente Febvre. \u00ab\u00a0Dans la premi\u00e8re, j\u2019ai pu choisir mes traces, imposer mon rythme et g\u00e9rer la course. Il y avait \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de trous carr\u00e9s cach\u00e9s sous la boue, donc il fallait rester concentr\u00e9 du d\u00e9but \u00e0 la fin. Dans la seconde, j\u2019ai voulu changer de ligne dans la descente, mais j\u2019ai atterri trop au milieu, j\u2019ai rat\u00e9 ma trajectoire et je suis tomb\u00e9. Ce n\u2019\u00e9tait pas \u00e9vident de relever la moto, surtout dans les premiers tours, o\u00f9 chaque seconde compte. Mais j\u2019ai trouv\u00e9 de bonnes solutions pour doubler et je suis remont\u00e9 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me place. C\u2019est seulement en voyant mon panneau au bord de piste que j\u2019ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que je pouvais encore gagner le GP !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Dans deux semaines, c’est donc en solide leader du championnat que Febvre arrivera devant son public. \u00ab\u00a0Je suis tr\u00e8s heureux d\u2019emmener la plaque rouge \u00e0 Ern\u00e9e, c\u2019est toujours un moment sp\u00e9cial le GP de France. On m\u2019a dit que la piste avait \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9e, j\u2019esp\u00e8re que la m\u00e9t\u00e9o sera enfin avec nous, pour le public comme pour nous. J\u2019aurai une tenue sp\u00e9ciale J1 et j\u2019ai demand\u00e9 aussi une d\u00e9co sympa sur la moto. \u00bb<\/p>\n
